    Yep it is old thread, but..... Just watching Crackerjack starring Mick Molloy and he drives 260 2+2. The missus asked the question, is that car a V8 ?, sure sounds a bit like one. Anyone know the car ?

    Too true, and if you ever have to cancel a rego they only refund the rego fee and not the taxes, levies and other BS charges. Then it is only the complete unused months less an admin fee. Nett result you get F all back. Hmmmm, gotta love the government

    Gidday Yes you are 100% correct the rear bar is also the reo. For purpose of the blue slip the removal of the rear bar would be viewed as a modification to rear impact zone and a reason for a fail. Some inspectors may turn a blind eye but not many. That said, it is not reason to reject an otherwise good (minimal rust) car. Cheers PB

    And that explains why the ZX doesn't have it, EFI = No Choke. Is there any question the rust master can't answer ?

    Or you could look on the Lovells website. The part numbers tell you they are L Lower = 25-40mm

    Flew to Perth and back this week so caught up on a few movies. Finally got around to watching Captain Phillips, really enjoyed it. Also watched "All Is Lost" starring Robert Redford. Solo yachtsman who's yacht gets struck by a shipping container. The story is around the fight for survival that follows. Not a bad movie.
