My car is just waiting for some rails to arrive from Japan to mount the recaro's. My seats are black and in excellent condition ( 20 odd years of storage will do that I guess ) Someone in the past has sewn 2 small dark purple patches onto the back rest bolsters that I am unsure if they could just be unstitched or replaced with black. I would also be after $800 for the pair with out rails.

Oh its going ahead, M130 is being wired as we speak. But im not doing it. Lack of time-enthusiasm i took my car to a workshop for them to complete for me.

Have been googling a lot about this and there is not a lot of information out there. Im wondering if anyone here has individual coils per cylinder using the smart coils and how you mounted them? I was thinking something like this but was seeing what people have done. I dont want to run that blake machining mounting bracket as that means i have to run a separate cdi ignition box to use the ford coils.

They have a large washer that goes on in between the bolt head and the eccentric fuel pump cam, The fuel pump cam is very thick as it has a washer welded into it as well as the cam thickness. You need to fit another washer as thick as the cam to make sure you are not bottoming out in the camshaft and applying the correct torque to the cam bolt or refit the fuel pump cam.

Your missing the point. The bolt holds the sprocket in position on the cam, Not the dowel. The dowel is used for locating the cam shaft sprocket. you should be able to remove the dowel after the cam bolt is torqued and have no effect on the cam gear spinning on the camshaft. Cheers Doug

That is such a small difference you will never notice, You actually want the biggest gap you can possibly run, I would run a .5 gap. Its only when talking high hp turbo cars that you run into issues with bigger spark gap.

No i think the car is fairly solid from what i have heard. the guy who is selling it bought it cheap as is and has added 15k to the price tag. he also had a fairlady for sale and there was a bit of discussion about this earlier in this thread i think?

Put some zip ties around the bit of the driveshaft I use to stop the oil coming out and the input shaft. Can confirm 3.06 1st......turns about 10 degrees past 3 turns for one revolution of tail shaft. Price amended

I have for sale one 280Z or early ZX north american 5 speed.. Don't know what that means but Jamo ( Grant ) went to a lot of effort to get this box for his turbo engine set as the ratios are better? Jamo put new bearings and seals through the gearbox when he got it and drove about 10k with it in the car. I purchased the gearbox in a package with the engine. I'm taking the engine a little further then Grant so there is no point bolting this really good condition b box behind it and shattering it. If you want to see a picture that's fine but its a oil free clean and dry gearbox. I have wire wheeled the whole gearbox so its a little bit shiny and very clean and the inside of the bell housing is painted red.. Cause red is faster. From looking around I think these are the ratios.. * 1st: 3.062 * 2nd: 1.858 * 3rd: 1.308 * 4th: 1 * 5th early 0.773 Chasing $800.00 Cheers Doug oh for thee too too for too nein five sux

Turns out Jason is right for once.. With the C box I have Les cant adapt the b extension housing like he can on the FJ box. So gave can you pm me your bank account details an ill transfer you the money and you can let Les know that the your junk is now my junk. I spoke with him this morning so he knows whats going on.
