    Hi All i love my cars(z esp.) but my knowledge if mostly from reading books and magazines and tinkering, short on time and funds - i am looking at doing the Fundamentalsof Automotive Mechanics Certificate through open learning - just wondering if anyone has done such a course(or similar) and what their result was(did you learn what you thought you needed?). thanks for any replies andrew

    try quiktrack -http://www.quiktrak.com.au/profile.asp i use them for one of my cars, the tech will come to you and install, upfront cost is a bit but i think monthly is $30 - they call you if alarm goes of and can remotely shut down your car. good for peace of mind

    hey bro i have a gunston colortune thingy, i know some folks swear by them and others hate them, i have found it to be pretty good, can lend it to you if you wanna have a muck about with it, i say play heaps, how else do you learn, i am constantly stuffing up stuff in an effort to better understand it, you could always take to a mechanic(there is really good one in hornsby) but where's the fun in that? anyway lemme know i am very busy for the next few days but perhaps we can sort something(you pick up or such) ta

    hell yeah keen - but probably wont be free until around the end of feb, can also muster another mate with a 260 depending on dates

    hey, hope it wasnt the auto**n in auburn, guys there are absolutely hopeless, i wont bore with the details but after a stereo install and alarm on the same day(which took all day, and we had to go back etc etc) i wont ever go to them again, Anyway - have you joined the nsw z club? i was going to but never got around to it, met up with them on the end of a cruise around this time last year, seemed like a nice bunch maybe something for 2014?

    i would - for the 35k - can fix the 240 perfectly - wonder if this is an option here in oz?

    Terrrible news ill post on my FB too - and on some other car forums(redline gti & rexnet)as many jap car enthusiasts would know a 240z. not many 240s getting round in sydney so i think it should be damn easy to spot,

    Gday mate, definitely interested in both the centre console and the dash, depending on what you're willing to let them go for? i have a 240 with these parts also in disrepair and would like something to experiment with trying to fix. so please drop me a mssg(or reply here) on how much you would like for them. thanks andrew

    Hi All I'll be attending, gonna be driving a brown 240, she's pretty rough but still i love her, would love to meet some folks and have some chats, should be bringing a couple of mates, one will have a blue 260, the other a very clean ae86 and maybe one more with a 280 - so should be good, hope there is a whole bunch of Zs and the weather stays good -Andrew
