Hmm i often head up that way around xmas, which it seems will be upon us sooner than we think. Will the engine fit in the back of a gc8 wrx?

check my post a while back for my brother's 260 2+2. he's not in sydney but is nsw(just) based so might be worth a shot, very good car from someone who actually knows how to look after cars(not me for sure lol)

Thanks for the reply mate, he is definately willing to move the spare on seperately and is negotiable on the price for the complete car, just that selling the complete car is his main priority as he has purchased another vehicle (not a z) and needs to fund that one

my brother had his 2+2 done after a bad hail storm, looked mint for about a year and then started to bubble - i know it's only one example but i wouldnt go that path

try to drive my zed at least once a week, but missed the last few because i am trying to change the stereo and cant get the face plate off.... read up heaps but .... meh will try again this sunday lol. also winton fun day. my mate went in a series 1 rx7, said it was great even with the weather and a lot of cars. wish we had something similar closer to home

hey all. just adding my two cents on the packing, if the assumption is correct and this part is expensive, could have been packing upright so that freighters don't place other items on top of it(double stacking etc). we do this at my work sometimes because "top load only" stickers mean nothing to most freight folk.

i think you're gonna love them, i chucked a set on re002s on my Sti late last year, best thing i have done, handling is fantastic, wet or dry weather. good luck and please make sure you post your experience with the new tyres.

gday mate i am in the same boat(73 240z, shot brake booster) but in nsw, i rang Burt bros last week and they seemed happy to rebuild(they are in fairfield sydney) so ill be taking mine to them, hopefully this week, if you have no luck in vic i guess you could courier it to them or some such. ill post up once mine is done so folks can know.
