Its been a busy few weeks, We've moved house which means I've now got a Z Shed!! Painted the walls and floor, installed some stainless benchwork. Still need some stainless cupboards and drawers to go under and better lighting. We moved the Z into its new home away from the flood area! Put it up on stands, started stripping out mechanicals and replacing parts. Decided to upgrade brakes and move to MCA coilovers as the oil leaked out of the konis. I've also got some cheap semi slicks for the initial run in/setup stage. Still got a long list to go but I will get there eventually. At least the cars at home now and I can work on it whenever I want to.

14 years, many lost parts, lots of money spent, never driven, goes under water in a flood when it's nearly finished. Wish I bought one registered and fixed it as I went. -
Sorry missed that comment, it was fresh/rain water

Looks Great!! Doesn't look like it needs any work, only problem is you can only drive one at a time

Cheers guys, still got a bit to go before rego but definitely in a couple a months I would love to go for a cruise

Had a bit of a set back with flood, but engine has been flushed and is running, need to lift it up and change oils and wheel bearings and flush brake lines. Then look into electronics and pull the dash back out and change gauges. Paid someone to detail it, took all day just to do the body coming back later to do carpets and seats. Never looked so good

I'm think the rear looks better than the front, if I had to pick a view, but what good is a Z that's trailered to drive in a straight line

Thanks guys, I will try my hardest to still get it to the wedding still have a few months. I had it running the next day after the flood, getting it properly detailed in a few weeks and I will reassess where I'm at. Main thing will be the electronics, brakes, gearbox and diff.

Same, I just took auto brake pedal off and put a manual brake and clutch on

I did but I can rebuild, I was so close to messaging you yesterday to see if you were interested in buying it. But I slept on it and decided I need to finish it! I'm glad to see you got one, we will both have the 260z 2 and 4 seaters on the Gold Coast

So I have some good news, got a cheque from Shannons, I get to keep the car and it can be registered! I guess because it wasn't yet registered and they didn't have a vin it doesn't hit the register!! But still a big job ahead to get it back to where I had it....

I didn't rip into him, I was just curious on a delivery date and didn't get replies to my emails or phone calls. Where I work in a 2 person custom stainless fabrication factory we work to a 2 week turn around and so do most people I know. I was worried I had done my cash, that's why I asked here because I knew others have had dealings with them before.

Just tried calling again he answered and said they should be here today
