The Last time I spoke with him the answer was "not really" He said he might make some more if there were enough orders. I need another set of rails also, if anyone else is keen please let me know and Ill try contact him again with some numbers and see if hes keen. They are really well made as we installed a set I had on one of our 240's a couple of weeks back. Pretty much a perfect fitment. Gotta take my hat off to him

Because BC coilovers are not even close to the quallity of MCA suspension. Ive have been 2 cars with BC's (180SX and 32 GTR) and both were very average, the adjustment on the valving does nothing IMO. I went straight to a custrom Tein Monoflex setup for my GTR and they are miles ahead. I had contacted MCA before I bought the Teins but they were still in the prototype stage for 32 GTR and I couldnt wait any longer. They did offer me custom gold series but at over $5k i couldnt justify that for how i use the car. In saying that BC's might be fine for how some use their cars.....

HybridZ definitely has a good write up. I would give it a go yourself, I've done the conversion for a mate in VL commonwhore and it's not that bad. All depends on how much time you have

That's good to hear about the webers, gives me more options. My dad told me that good linkages are the most important thing. The SK Solex 48's just sold for $1200 before any fees and duty. The Mikuni's have a few mores days so will see how they go.

Thanks for the reply Your motors looking great. I have tried to read as many post about carbs as possible and see a lot of people using the mikuni 44's on decent street motors. I have had a look at the weber kit you mentioned but remember reading somewhere that people have to keep adjusting them to keep in tune? The Mikuni's listed are apparently rebuilt aswell. What do you think would be a good price to pay for them? Cheers

Hey guys I'm looking to buy a set of triple carbs for my project but honestly I don't really have a clue as I'm new to the world of carbies!! I haven't started a build thread yet but have taken plenty of pictures for when I do. My car originally came with a L28 N42 head and bottom end, running early model carbs. I have no other info on the engine as I have never seen it running. I will probably rebuild the motor once the cars finished. I've also bought the following books : workshop manual, how to rebuild nissan & datsun motor, how to modify nissan and datsun motor I have found a few sets of triples on Yahoo Japan but not sure what will suit my setup and also roughly what they are worth. I'm hoping someone here with more knowledge will point me in the right direction. The first set are advertised as SK Sanyo made Solex 48's. No other information given The second set are mikuni 44's on a SK manifold. The information below is what's listed NissanLtype6cylinder. Solex44 carb kit ..44φ 4type ..jet. main165,air200,pump45,Pilot57,5,outer-V34.. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Cheers Bret

It will definitely be interesting to see it's progress and see what gains they get out of it. I think I would still prefer a les Colin's, peter mc stroker. I think the cost will be up there, they have obviously put a lot of thought into it and it's gonna take a lot of trial and error to get right. It's still great to see people doing these things
