  1. Pm'd re front spoiler and brake booster Cheers
  2. I've four of these and are good but floor must be real smooth or you'll give yerself a hernia. Great for spinning a car around in a double garage or for storing a car out the way and tight up to a wall. Got a pair at an auction for $60 and a pair from supercheeeeeep for $80. Currently holding the 205GTI off the deck.
  3. I have an original fan motor spare. Works, spins freely and has original connectors and free dust! $50 plus postage. Let me know if you want it. Cheers
  4. Yup, said it was a road car and still said heavier up front
  5. Cool as Spoke to josh at MCA and Blues are $2100 and X $2500 Rates are 5kg front and 4kg rear. This is the first time I've heard of heavier in the front. Makes sense, but normally I've seen heavier in the rear quoted. Which set have you got, and heavier at the front? Cheers
  6. Just seeing if anyone has a set of coilovers for sale. Failing that, what's the word on the BC ones that come up on ebay for about $1500? Thanks in advance fellas
  7. Hey Just under mine now. About 5mm between the top of the steering rack bracket and the lowest edge of the sump. The rest of the sump angles upward away from the rack
  8. Morning all Just in the process of getting #571 ready for rego and have got the brakes up after having the rear wheel cylinders resleeved. All good for a couple of days but now I'm getting a hiss when I apply the brakes with the engine on. I'm thinking that the diaphragm in the booster has gone and perished. Anyone think different? If it is this, can the unit be rebuilt? (And has anyone a rough cost for this) or is there a booster off another Datto I can use. If not, where best to get new? Mine's a 71 car with the smaller booster. Cheers Martin
  9. Bumpty bump, now with added price drop. $150
  10. Sure, can wrap and send no probs
  11. He's a 'amster...
  12. In my avatar there's one, and the only other was when the car was red, minus the front bumper (that covers the joint between the spoiler and the bottom edge of the fenders).
  13. Sold - to Usain Bolt...
  14. Fibreglass spoiler that I used to run on my 240Z. Going for a nudie look with the new car so this is up for grabs. Unsure of brand but no damage or cracks. There's also the indicator housings that I made to save the original three-panel front valance. Simply take yours off and bolt these in. Do I need to tell you they're white? Professionally made and ready for your paint. $200, located on the Goldie Cheers Martin
  15. A pair (left and right) of hinges from a 1971 240z. No play in pivots. $50. Located on the GC Cheers Martin
  16. Cheers guys Just gotta see what the auction ends at now...
  17. Thanks for the replies The ones I'm looking for are number 2 on this pic (need a pair of #1 too). As I haven't got any, I can't show what they actually look like. But they fit between the outer frame of the quarter light and the car body.
  18. 2-seater quarters
  19. As title am hunting the rubber seals thaìt go between the metal frame of the quarter windows and the bodyshell (not the glass to frame ones). Anybody got or knows where to got...
  20. Ego came back with $50 per wheel or the "special price" of $235 for four...
  21. Hi all Looking to get a set of rims shipped from Melb to the Gold Coast. Anybody used anybody good and inexpensive? I normally use Ego but their quote was pretty exxy. Who knows what?
  22. ....And green cars look terrible with flares, right?
  23. If the main thing about having a 240Z is the resale value then sell it and buy a house - you'll be much better off. It's your car, have it your way. Just cut mine as I love the look and have no plans to sell once done. Not sure the resale is necessarily adversely affected, more likely the number of potential buyers is diminished. Enjoy the car exactly how you want it...
