This is further supported by the fact that the Z432 is not listed amongst Edward Lees' current stock list. Oh - and what Gavin said too!

Just a follow up about the bonnet hinges. It seems that early cars might have had cadmium plated hinges and they were painted on later cars. This is a photo of HLS30-00013, a very early (10/69) and original looking car, showing the plated finish.

We got up to about $450 then interested waned - so PB260Z said; I am not sure if others did the same. Wow a whole $4,499! In 1968 you could buy a Datsun 1000 4-door for $1,850, like my mother did.

I noticed the big jumps in bids too. It's weird because if the highest bid is $10,300 then you bid $24,000 - the bid should display as $10,400 until other bidders bring the price up to that level. It is a folding vinyl sunroof - usually 'Webasto' brand.

It looks like someone snapped these up for the minimum bid of $4,000 - it will be interesting to see if they turn up on this site.

I saw two - a green one passes them at 2:22 and again at 2:36, then an orange S30 with a black vinyl roof at the 6:44 mark.

They are listed as 16 x 10" - but this photo suggests that they are 9" (228.6mm) wide. **edit - I guess the overall wheel width might be 10" - but for tyre sizing purposes the rim width is 9".
