  1. Nice work Craig. When are you going into production?
  2. Welcome to the 2+2 Club Brent. Nice to see yet another one that is not getting pulled apart for parts. With the floor pan I was of the understanding that the replacement floors only suited the 2 seater as the 2+2 has a lot more shape to it dips and bumps. Could be wrong though. I'm about to start work on mine soon... Cheers Matty O
  3. Awesome Benny. I like Matty O
  4. Thanks Guys. I like the way you think Mossy
  5. Hey Jamo Great work I love your thread. It's gonna be a rocket when it's done. Out of interest, How did you go about removing the body deadener? Just a scraper and hard work? Cheers Matt
  6. I got a couple of hand winches mounted on the weekend. So up she goes.
  7. Welcome. Box hill. Just around the corner from me. Little more info.
  8. +1 with the big man Not that I have anything worth steeling as of yet, But there will come a time as the car progresses. I would be hesitant to post picks of new parts now. I vote for locking the journals. Matty O
  9. Great new Pete. That must make you feel a little better...
  10. Ah Pete that is a sad day. I live for your pictures of car porn. I hope you find the bastards !
  11. What works for me is to watch and read each day. You soon pick up who it is worth listening to and who its not.
  12. Guess who's got a rotisserie, Thanks to Mossy . I got is mounted up today ready to drop all the running gear out tomorrow. Not sure about the mounting points at the moment. I will see what it is like to spin once I get it up there. I may still mod the the mounts.
  13. Thanks Scoot, just curious. It all goes in the knowledge bank.
  14. Well done Mossy Family.. Great news Matty O
  15. This may be a stupid question. Do you weld all the way along the seems or just leave them as welds every couple of inches Thanks Matt
  16. Well done Ash Pm sent
  17. At this point Benny I would say no! it appears to only have rust down the bottom. So I should be able to cut and fix. But I won't commit to that as we all know what happens when you start digging around. I have left the wheel arch a bit rugged as I will be putting flairs on so it didn't seem worth making it pretty. Thanks Matty O
  18. Yeah was a big hurdle to get over. I think I will get some more momentum now
  19. He mossy. Do you have the bits that bolt to the car. Where are you in the east? I'm very interested. Cheers Matt
  20. I made some progress today. i finally got the guard back on. I have mixed feeling about this. Good because it is the first thing to go back on, But I think it could have gone on a bit better. I had to do so much work to get it back into a usable guard and I kind of wish I had just got a one that was in good nic to start with. I'm hoping all the lines are good once the bits start going on. Anyway at least it is moving forward now>
  21. I wouldn't of thought sand would have been a good thing around an alternator
  22. No Dramas buddy as long as it is in good hands.
  23. Hows my alternator going.
  24. Thanks Gav. The encouragement is a huge help. It has been dam tuff to get any work done lately. Winter is all taken up with kids sports on the weekend. Then sure enough a long week end comes up with no sport and it looks like I will have to work... F**^%*^$$@#rk!!!!
  25. I have only just closed my jaw.... Freeeking awesome. Matty O
