Yep that's all it comes down too. I would really like to maybe get a half decent one one a few years to just enjoy and drive

Hi guys I have been giving this a hell of a lot of concederation of the last 6 months and I have decided to join the group of people that have decided to abandon their project. I am about to do an extension and the garage is going, also the kids are taking up a huge amount of time and I am just not getting any time. I would like to get some money back in some way shape or form but unfortunately I don't think the shell is worth selling as a project unless your a very keen. The body is in great condition but the floor has gone. I have started to repair the drivers side and it is coming along well but still has a lot to do. Then start on the other side. once that is done it is only really the dog legs. So if you were up to some fabrication then it would be great. So I guess I would be interested in expressions of interest. The car is currently sitting on an Rotisserie that will be sold with the project. I could sell the project including L26, Auto and all running gear. I'm not real interested in cutting up the shell as I still have to get rid of the remains. I also have a bunch of parts like extra bonnets and hatches headlight tubs and so on I can list them all but I would be wrapped if someone wanted to take the entire bunch. Hey Locky I think I got one in the stuff I got from Rev. But I'm not sure. I wouldn't be able to look until tomorrow arvo at the earliest. I know I have on from mine but still not sure what way I am going Auto or Manual, So I better hang onto it. Let me know if you want me to have a look under the house tomorrow.

As far as I can tell so far Dimitri it is just the floors. Even the dog legs are not to bad. Need fixing but so so. I have my work cut out for the next couple of months on the floors. But should move on well from there.

The rest of the body looks real good. Few bits of rust here and ther but not a big deal. They have done a lot of repairs to the floor. But I will pull all them out. Not sur how so much rust can get into the floors but not really any where else, ah well I have to have something to do.

Yeah I have cut it out. It was welded Into that old shell so depending how big a section is needed it may be usefull it may not.

Year 1976. I think the floor looks a little worse than it is. Only a little. It gets better once I clean up some of that surface rust

Say Hello to Dato No. 2 This one has a huge amount of work to be done with the floors. But that is about it. Some on has spent a bit of money on it before they have decided to let it go. It had all new brake lines and drums,shoes and suspension. So once I get the floor sorted, no small task. I should be able to move on a bit quicker than I was ever going to move with the last shell. Fingers crossed.

Wave good bye to Dato No. 1. This shell will be picked up on Monday to go to the grave yard. I decided it was beyond saving.
