  5. 53-681 .Warren at "All Z Parts" has the complete unit (spring ,etc,) for $100 a pr but will sell them sprtly. Ph (02) 94760966 Tell him Alan sent you. Regards : Alan.
  6. Sam PM me have one . By the way your better off listing your wtb items as one & just remove them via modify post . That way if there all at the one place. Cheaper postage, etc. Just a suggestion. Regards: Alan.
  7. RB30, methinks he's seeking Hitachi 55Amp unit with integrated circuit control. Started from late 78 model. Regards: Alan.
  8. Hey mate your steering clmn plastic covers are on their way. Put in an xtra piece that you might be able to use for minor repair to one screw post. Recommend "Araldite" for securing post. A little piece of plastic on other problem & drill small hole for securing screw. Don't put screws in to big or to tight as this is what bugga's them up. Regards: Alan.
  9. When you say wanted ,doe's that mean for free?. Think you've got the wrong sectn. By the way if you had visited this "Forum" on the 4th Jan Galderdi advrtsd one for $30 . Gone now though. The price for good deals is eternal vigilance, so they say. Suggest get on the sight more often. Regards :Alan.
  10. Hey Jared, what model is it . If it's 1978 or later do you have the Alternator. Kev333 is after one. Regards :Alan.
  11. Hey Dingo ,he's got AC only + the normal stuff. The unit he's seeking is an (Itegrated circuit regulator 55Amp type) that started from 78 Modl, according to my "Clymer bible." I only have the older type . Carlos has the 78 & later type up here but he wants 100 bucks plus postage. I'm sure you can do better than that if you have one at your disposal. Regards: Alan.
  12. Hey Greg , don't forget the plastic retaining clip for the chrome cover thingo. Put that in the will to. What sort of flowers do you like. LOL. Regards :Alan.
  13. Try Warren at All Z parts. Got a pr recently for $24.00. Ph# (02) 9476 0966. He's a bit hard to get hold of sometimes but his wife Miriam is there most times. Regards :Alan.
  14. Fuzzy, thats fine but wouldn't it be so much simpler to have a "Standard" pricing list that everyone can refer to. If you look at some of the prices that are listed, one wonders !!!. Regards: Alan.
  15. Hi 53-681, turns out that I have one sitting around. It needs a little bit of fixing but quite repairable. You can have it for (Postage cost). Scoota G & Lurch were good to me, so why not do the same. If it works OK for you a donation to the "Site" would be appreciated .Send me a PM Re :Name & Address. Regards:Alan.
  16. Hey RB30?, don,t forget to check if it is a vertical or hrzntl bolt up for Master clndr. That is the difference between srs1 & srs2, Prvsly mntnd this on this post. Regards: Alan.
  17. Kev ,might suggest you nominate what type. Hitachi or Bosch as they have dfrnt cnctn terminals. 55Amp min if you have AC fitted. Regards :Alan.
  18. So gathering by your response the spacer would be your major problem. Try putting a listing in the WTB section & also try the wrecking yards for one. I believe any of the 280Z models will do. Remember it is The Spacer you are after. Regarding Manual, look up ( WWW.Velocebooks.com) or try your local book stores for book titled "SpeedPro Series" The SU carburettor high-performance manual .Around $40 - $45 price . Very informative, gives you all the needle sizes ,etc, etc. Regards: Alan.
  19. Kev I think you already know that its your Alternator. Have sent a PM to you & have also sent one to "Salty" as he's not to far from you & may be able to assist you quicker in your hour of need. Regards : Alan.
  20. Aharrr!!, Salty me old mate. Brilliant & how hard was that, & with some of the brains trust that I have witnessed on "The Forum" i'm sure that they will come up with some great idea's if they take the trouble. It's all for everyone's benefit .We shall wait & see. Regards :Alan.
  21. Kev333 , have four amongst my goodie's. If the guys down there can't help you out let me know. I'm up in Sydney thou. Regards :Alan .
  22. Thats better Graham , now we all know whats happening with your situation. Per chance when you installed your Elctrnc dizzy did you use your existing "Spacer/Block cnctr" unit to the motor. If so this is your problem. Had the same bloody experience, what happens is that it puts timing out about two leads if you use your existing distrbtr cnctn set up. Hence the 5" timing problem you mentioned previously. Me thinks!!. I bolted a Elctrnc unit up to my existing 260 Points Dizzy set up & had similar dramas. Upon fitting the 280Z Spacer it all disappeared. "The Forum" does work. Regards :Alan
  23. Now you fella's might get an idea where i'm coming from. A lot of folks won't advertise stuff here bfor E'Bay b'cause they are not certain of prices, etc. At least if they had some idea of what some things were worth it would encourage them to sell here, instead of taking a punt elsewhere. "And then we all lose out". Regards :Alan .
  24. Don't see where the acknowledgements are mentioned ,or is it an honour system per chance!. Oh well !!! . Regards :Alan.
  25. Back again with another thought (It never ends) . Instead of putting the items up for free why not make it a "Donation" system to the Forum Site so that there is a token reward to whence the item was posted. That way it is a win win situation & "The best existing site" is maintained. Regards : Alan.
