  1. Fixed Looked at that video a few times now, interesting how the Z tends to go into terminal push at the grip limit. You still have the rear ARB Sinisha? The setup looks great, particularly for a high powered car which would tend to oversteer stupid and go bush at the limit.

    QLD LAPZ 2014

Let me know Aub on which forums you are going to post the details. I'll fill in if there are any which I can do. Forum coverage is the secret to getting the numbers, as we have seen in the past, should be a day to remember. Even if it not real hard core pro door bangin full on racin like the hysterics do
  3. Why sticky? Poolroom if you must.
  4. Bugger me Sinisha, that's fast Any video?
  5. How about filling the hole with a bonded in fibreglass/CF panel. Done properly it would be at least as good and strong as new.
  6. Coilovers have gone to the first enquirer, other stuff is still available.
  7. You going to get them picked up soon Z? Otherwise BD can have them.
  8. Sorry no but there is an aftermarket one which will fit.
  9. Pickups don't have to be done by the person buying, first in with a sixpack and the coilovers are yours. But please don't expect packing as well, for a start I don't have any suitable boxes.
  10. Off my 1980 JDM two seater, beer is the only currency needed. * A/C stuff, including dash unit which looks OK. * GONE Coilovers front and rear. Fronts are a quite rusty, rears are adjustable GAB's look OK but may require recon, heavy springs. * Front X member and rear suspension and hubs which is mostly very rusty, rear calipers may be OK. Beer must be full strength stubbies but quantity is up to you, dealers or resellers are not invited. PM Richard.
  11. Have you blokes checked to see what Otomoto can offer?
  12. They don't need grounds, unless you get a door to door price a customs agent can charge whatever he likes to release the items to you. It happened to me with a spoiler from Z Store, their supposed cheap freight turned out to be not cheap at all.
  13. Yeh it's the customs agents charges that can kill any savings so be very careful there. They can basically hold you to ransom and charge whatever they like.

Sounds like you want to do some drifting Gordon
  15. Panels and bigger things like spoiler seem to be expensive freight wise, US sellers don't seem to care much about getting a cheaper price too. But at least USPS, FedEx and the like do all the customs stuff and deliver to your door, be careful of supposedly cheaper alternatives who add on the extras once they have possession of your stuff.
  16. So what is stopping you, need more S130 goodness ruling the mountain
  17. Have a tin of the KBS sealer to use, good price, Aussie product.
  18. I have always used a torsen type and, providing the car is suitably set up, have never had a problem on the road or track. If the car is losing grip with a torsen then it is not set up properly, because it does not have a clutch pack to slip it is more efficient too.
  19. Thankyou Jason for your obvious advice, actually the voluntary assistance thing was not an official request, it was just thrown out by me as bait. The club's members have always risen to the occasion, the great thing is that they are happy to help at their own expense to run an event that everyone can enjoy at the cheapest possible price.
  20. A lot to do with Zed prices is, or used to be, due to many owners who often had little money to spare and so cheapened the Zed image. The cars themselves then had little care or proper money spent on them, left outside all the time and so on. There is still some of that around but it certainly is changing. However a Zed is still Jap crap to some, unlike most euro sports cars which confer some prestige on the owners and this certainly adds to their value. It's less to do with the capability of the car, more to do with image.
  21. Hmmm, thinking more of the day to day stuff rather than the CAMS specific stuff. Like checking in participants, handing out stuff, that sort of thing. Which has to be done by volunteers who do it for the love and completely free, otherwise it gets too expensive for participants if the club has to start paying for accommodation etc.. After all it's a non profit thing, all the ZCCQ aims to do is break even financially.
  22. That's good Matt but don't worry about NDN15, the club has run Nationals before at MP and our corporate knowledge is still intact. But there is always room for a willing helper.
  23. But for the faster blokes windscreen suction mounts are unreliable. Ask me how I know
  24. So, what working role would you non ZCCQ blokes be willing to undertake for LapZ and for NDN15 if you are keen? As you seem to be. Goes without saying that you would have to work strictly according to club instructions. So that everything runs smoothly and our club guests have a great motorsport day.
