I have everything that you need sitting in my shed at Maitland but I won't be home from work until the 15th. If you can wait till then you can have them cheap but if you can't wait then you'll need to source it elsewhere.
I came back after a great day at the V8 supercars in Adelaide to find some low life scum had smashed both my front side windows and all they took was my GPS. They didn't even think to look in the center console to see about $80 worth of coins just sitting there. They also broke my glove box trying to break into it as well. It P#sses you off when you get scum that just takes things that others have worked hard for.
HHhhmmmm I could imagine a very cool coffee table book that could be put together from all your pics. I know that I'd definately get one and I don't even have a coffee table.
I can atest to that front air dam working. I'm always pulling leaves out of the mesh in mine. lol. I'm still in the process of boxing it in as well. Just holding off till I decide on whether I'm going turbo or not.
I saw a honda civic type R today with a similar paint job and don't limit yourself to car paints. There is a kawasaki colour that is very close to the colour your after. I repainted my fairing on a 94 model ZX6R ninja. The white that they use has a silver pearl through it. It would look awsome on a larger scale like a car.
I can see this guys tool shed now. It would only have a couple of tools. (Besides himself) It would have the sawzall, a sledge hammer. Maybe a couple of different sized ones. I grinder and an oxy kit and plenty of saw dust for inside his head.
I'm going to be heading down to Sydney in the next couple of days to pick up an engine so I might be able to pick up the motor and drop it off for you. I'll PM you with details once I know them. Should be Wednesday.
Steve
Thats great. I'll definately be doing something like that. Here is something that was posted on Hybridz as well. Not for alloy but still along similar lines to this thread.

I've heard of people using hairspray to coat things to give a very thin protective coating. Not sure how that would go on hot areas though. What about a spray on wax coating. I know you can get heat resistant coatings like this. Go to Russco's paint supplies and have a chat to them on Duckworth st. They helped me out heaps when I was racing my Patrol. They're usually pretty helpfull. Another guy to chat to would be the owner of Bayswater rd radiators. He has a lot to do with motorsports up there and of course the guy on near ford that races a zed. I can't remember his name. He's a bit exxy sometimes though. Oh and if you're looking for replacement window and door rubber then go to C. Ede's on Mcilwrath st South Townsville. They have heaps of different rubbers there and good prices. If they don't have it in stock they can probably order it in. Just thought I'd throw those in there for you in case you didn't already know about them up there.
