hey peter i had the engineer come and pay me a visit and i had your reinforcement over the rail and he said that is exactly what he would have recommend for an higher power output motor , so thanks for that i will be getting a few made up, he said my brakes are sufficient, and talked about the fuel tank and the specs on that, he is in the process of building a 34 ford roadster so he is into cars and not just doing work for the RTA Hard to get a hold off ( as he is a one man band) put seems like a good engineer Loui

Welding without a mask have down many years ago and learnt my lession, never again, i was prepin for welding in that pic it better stop the twist i have a bit more to do but ran out of wire to finish last night thanks Loui

Hey guys, Been abit busy this weekend . Picked up some 2.5mm 70 x 25 and 70 x 55 box section for the rails under the floor pan. Basically cut everything up then started welding bit by bit going from the back to front to left to right so that the heat wont warp the floor or body . Ive also added about 5kg of welding wire this weekend alone . Have stich welded around the gearbox mount and front strut towers to add some more strength. If the engineer says the body is to weak im going to drive over his head with it and ask him if he wants to rethink that ;D. Pictures: It might very well be overkill. But atleast i know if i get the power bug i can up the power without having to worry about structual strength. Thats all for now, Cheers Loui
