  1. Hi all, thank you for your interest. We have decided to withdraw the car from sale and sell the white automatic 73 240z. I will make another ad with all the details. Curtis
  2. Underneath, the metal tape is covering a a hole in the floor where a bung went.
  3. Hi mate, If you are interested give me a call regarding price. Curtis
  4. For sale on behalf of a friend is this 1971 240z with matching numbers engine and manual transmission, also having log books from brand new. The car was bought with the intention of doing a concourse restoration as it has NO RUST and has never been involved in any major accidents, the floors are clean and chasis is straight. Majority of the car still has the original paint apart from the passenger side rear quarter and door, there are obviously some bumps and bruises for a car of this age but it is still relatively straight and all the gaps match perfectly, the doors open and close like new and is all intact including the original aerial that still operates. The interior is in good condition for the age, the dash has one hairline crack, the drivers side seat has been reupholstered along with the drivers side door card. The carpet has been replaced along with the vinyl on the rear strut towers. The clock still works and so does the original radio and all the instruments. This is truly a unique find, I have owned a number of 240z/260z's over the years and this would have to be one of the best ones available in original condition. This car would suit someone looking to do a concourse restoration or leave it as is. Price : Please call Contact Curtis : 0423 660 281 Located: Byron Bay
  5. Pictures will speak a thousand words, the latest to the collection is this one owner, original paint and red interior 240z with all the log books and number plates that come with the car from factory.

  10. Car is now sold and heading to Sydney!
  11. For sale is my 1974 "Lightweight" 260z 2 seater. Unfortunately I have to let this go as storage is becoming an issue! Model: 1974 260z Location: Byron Bay, NSW Price: $17,000 Item Condition: Very Good Body: All rust has been removed and repaired properly, there is some rust in the drivers front nose cone that will need to be fixed. The rest of the car still presents really well. Mechanical: 5 speed manual with matching numbers L26, at the moment it does need a carby kit or other carbies sourced, I can have this fixed depending on what is negotiated. Motor does not use any oil or water and still sounds strong. Registration: registered to the 17/7/15 in NSW Pictures: http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,14539.0.html If you need detailed pictures of an area please ask. Extra Info: The car is not a concourse z, It still presents really well and has been used on club runs in QLD. It is mostly original and would be a great base to make a concourse car from as it's matching numbers, has the original radio (still works) and has been kept period correct with some minor modifications such as the wheels, 2 1/2 exhaust, lowered springs with pedders struts and bre front spoiler. The seats have been reupholstered and the carpets are in good condition. If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me Contact : Curtis 0423 660 281

  15. Lol, I've heard that comment a few times now gav since bringing home the white 73. I agree with the headlight covers, although to find a set of the chrome surrounds is hard to come buy and expensive. The plates that are on the car arnt the original ones when it left the showroom, however she had the personalised ones put on when she bought the car so I'm planning on leaving them on the car.
  16. Overall condition, this one is more original than the one in Etham, victoria. The 71 from Victoria was pretty good as far as originality went, it did have a lot of new things though such as carpets, interior trim and other bits and pieces, it was starting to show tiny bits of rust when I bought it. In saying that It was still a really good car and was all matching numbers, original radio, wheels and hubcaps etc and I still haven't seen to many come on the market like it. the 73 I just bought would be the most original I've ever bought and we've owned roughly 12-15 240 & 260z's everything is basically original or period correct on the car. All the carpets, interior, engine bay and the body is close to how it come out of the factory. It's had a paint job roughly 20 years ago and she had a AUNGER front spoiler put on it and that all that's been done. My plans are to leave it alone and just give it a good tidy up, I'll replace some of the badges which are old and a few other tiny bits and pieces that are worn or old and that's it.
  17. 240z & 260z
  18. When it first emerged out of the garage!
  19. this was my 71 I bought from Melbourne
  20. Plans at this stage is to give it a good tidy up, some new badges and a couple of other minor bits and that's it. My plan is to leave it stock as I found it.
  21. I found the car roughly 5-6 years ago when I had my early car, strange twist of events but where I had my car stored was close to this car and one of the neighbours pointed out that the lady down the road has one sitting in the garage. I made contact with her about 4 years ago and she wasn't keen on selling it, I rang her on Monday just to touch base and see if she still had the car, she responded and said it was funny I rang as she was considering selling it but didn't have the time to advertise it for sale. We made a time to catch up yesterday afternoon, I went prepared with a bag of money and the deal was done although when it come time to sign the rego papers over she started to get a bit hesitant, I suppose after 38 years of ownership it would be a tough one.
