wow that is a nice car and in a good combination with the yellow over the black interior. 10k+ is alot for a 280zx but that is an exceptional car. like the 240z I guess, keep it for long enough and who knows. good luck hopefully it finds a good home.

I was going to take the under dash air out, but amazingly it still works, all it needs is gas. Thanks gav the only mod I have done and am going to do is the wheels. I am still going to replace a few odd bits and peices with new parts just to get the car right up to scratch. I'm glad someone else likes the mirrors, so far everyone that's seen it in person said ditch them but they are original and there in good condition.

Thanks all, the wheels do look good dimitri, they made a huge difference as far as looks go but it handles like it's on rails now.

Hi all, I'm sure most of you remember the car that was advertised on Carsales a month ago at eltham in Melbourne. After waiting three weeks I finally got it back up here. For the age it's not to bad with a few bubbles coming out around the hatch panel, but the rest of the body is good and the interior is neat and tidy, it wouldnt hurt to replace the carpet. Anyway have a loo at the improvements so far, these are the only mods (wheels) that I plan to do.

Hi Ryan, good to see it made it back. This car does need alot of work but I know for a fact structurally it's not to bad. there is no rust in the firewall and not alot in the firewall and around the inner hatch. yes it needs a bucket load of work, but after seeing what zed back is doing it is worth restoring as it is a 71 model with matching numbers. how ever its probably not the car to do a concourse resto, more along the lines of a zg replica or track car or something a bit different. but if you have the time and knowledge to do it give it a shot. but definately get it sandblasted. Hi All I am selling the following 2 cars. a 1970 240z and a 1976 260z 2 seater. The 240z is a complete project and does need someone who has the skill and knowledge or most imortant the money to finish it of. I have spent a small fortune so far on new parts and panels and body work. the car is mostly complete, So far it's had the passenger side floor replaced, inner sill, battery area, along with numerous other bits which have been done to a very high standard. There are new door skins to go on and all the other replacement panels are there. All the interior is intact and the car was originally white with black interior. All the interior is complete and in reasonable condition, the dash and seats need to be recovered. Hi All, I am selling one of my projects. This is a 1971 240z that will need a full restoration but is all matching numbers. Structurally sound with no rust in the firewall, next to nothing in the radiator support panel and in and around the hatch. There is rust in all the common spots such as the doglegs, wheel arches floorpans and a bit in the outer sill. This car will need a ground up resto as it has been sitting since the early 90's. It does run and can be driven onto a trailer or moved around if needed. It is complete and fairly original apart from the sunroof. Hi All, I am looking for a 260z 2+2, for spare parts. I have a 260z 2 seater that needs numerous bits. i'm not concerned what the body is like as long as the running gear is good and its a manual. please let me know if you have something you would like to sell. i am located near Byron Bay on the Northern Rivers so obviously the closer the better.
