Holly molly that colour is gorgeous. I would love a finish like that except I'm going abit darker. Is the mica just a metallic or something else, eg mirco flakes ect? Amazing work.

I wasn't directing it at you personally although I can see how you thought that with my post being above yours. Truth be told I hadn't even read your post. I imagine you have noticed damage being done to the environment. My post was partially in reaction to a person I encountered in person who I gave a decent serving too because they suggested that humans have no impact on the environment whatsoever. Being someone who has done research and read many articles from lots of places and studying this exact subject, I felt the need to state some facts. One of which is that anthropogenic climate change is happening and is proven. However it goes beyond that what I focus on is all forms of human damage such as the increases in hard surfaces, water pollution, land clearing etc. There are many people out there [silly alarmists and other people with agenda's eg. "Tim Flannery, Ros Gaunet (spelling) and all the rest of the doomsday profits"- AL] who also do more damage than good by stating nonexistent things such as because of climate change there are soo many cyclones and floods. That is all unproven crap and not science! Also I would like to point out that I disagree with the Carbon Tax!

Seeing as though the RB20 fits the L28, I was wondering if this includes the RB20 automatic? I'm after an auto and don't want a crappy 3 speed auto. Also the R34 tiptronic auto, could it be made to fit? Please no questions or comments about my desire for an auto. Just after some info. Thanks Tom.

Go look at the top of a coal fired power station or the tailings that mines put back into the waterways. Would you like to breathe what's coming out the top of the power station or drink from the water that is contaminated? Skeptics can go bury their heads in the sand just as long as they promise to keep them there. Climate change is not "ah we have had 2 degrees hotter on average for march", climate change is the GRADUAL changing of weather patterns and our climate due to many factors both natural and anthropogenic. Climate change is a natural phenomena however it is being accelerated by some human activities. In saying this my personal opinion is that the carbon tax is completely wrong. I have studied economics and what they are trying to do is very simple and in theory it works well, but in practice, in this economy now it is a complete nightmare. They are trying to promote structural adjustment to cleaner energy and more environmentally friendly ways of doing things. However in practice they money will not be spent on renewable energy or environmentally friendly ways of doing things rather it will just inflate prices for consumers and drive up the cost of living. If the government was serious about climate change they would reduce our reliance on mining, coal fired power stations, water recycling plants that are powered by clean energy ect.

Has anyone ever but an RB26 (auto) box behind and L-series? Not the 4wd one obviously the rwd one out of a R34.

An EFI L26 tuned properly wouldn't be too far off an RB20 plus then you keep the original engine and that means you avoid the whole modified cop/rego rubbish.

EFI and higher gearing will net you some decent economy. As far as the petrol smell I read somewhere it was just the rear hatch seal or coming from the rear somewhere. If thats the case not something a little sillicon can't fix.

I was told that I would need retractable seatbelts. I wanted to install harnesses. Mine is a 1975, what year is yours?
