  1. Just mention my name (scoota) if you do. He's local to me and a top bloke for sure!
  2. The fact is it should've never even proceded to this point and the then to have the Audacity to blame everyone but themselves, unbelivable! I too have an diff that i blew up early this year so if they don't come back and Pete can't find his you can have the flanges off that! That's how we roll!!!!
  3. Yea i sent him a PM too, show some respect!
  4. Member i.d. dalee has a set of these that i picked up for him in Melbourne. If Tai doesn't have any PM dalee, he may be willing to part with them.

  8. The funny thing is that you can not only read the disappointment in Lockeys message (for rev having sold his other Gems) but you can also hear it come through the monitor, Hear It!!!!
  9. How can i explain this another way. This is a build thread. If you need to discuss bodywork go to the thread below. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/board,11.0.html Thanks.
  10. Anyways the Midnight Warrior is ready for delivery!!!
  11. Are your old shocks shorter? Someone may have used the wrong ones before you and put a spacer in the strut tube.
  12. Welcome Paul, my friend Dale had a similar problem and we ended up modifying the front panels to suit.
  13. Well like i said it depends on what sort of finish you are after, sure it can be done! I did it to my car back in 2007 to protect it until i could get around to finish. It took me 8 hours to sand by hand and prep including tape and 45 minutes to paint three coats. They call it a 10 foot paint job because it looks great from 10 feet away. It depends on the condition your paint is in now. All i am saying is if you have the shell apart it would save you a bucket load of time and expense in the future to prepare the shell properly now. Below is a picture of my 10 foot paint job two years after i layed the hue on.
  14. It depends on your ultimate goal. Nothing like detail work but most guys here are not building models or show cars. We use them. Do all your prep on the shell properly that way you can prepare the other panels one at a time and spread it over a period of time. This way you can replace panels with cleaner panels if you choose to and you're less likely to lose interest in the vehicle. Anyways this Zed is ready for delivery tomorrow the 16th, can't wait to see more updates from your end Vivek. Enjoy!
  15. Went for $16.01 i sniped at the last second. I wanted to buy it and see if it could be reproduced!
  16. What an excellent base to start with.
  17. Listed under 240Z and not 260Z. I don't check under 240Z that often, thanks a lot for the heads up guys
  18. Yes the one i listed was more like this on in the link below. http://www.bre2.net/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=B&Product_Code=020B03&Category_Code=bre_datsun_body_parts Google is a very handy device for those who are unsure what they are talking about. It doesn't happen here often but!
  19. It's sure is getting there!
  20. I think a picture would help. Idle adjustment bolts on your carbs are probably held in by nuts under the tab and a spring on top. Nuts and springs of a specific size.
  21. He has my number i think. Is there a link to photos available?
  22. Now i'm just showing off
  23. Have a look on ebay under 240Z sunshine! http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Datsun-240z-260z-rear-spoiler-/320962339080?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4abad8a108
  24. That section does attach by two 12mm bolts, one hidden by the door and the other under the gaurd.
