  1. It's one day's work and $250 away from starting, another day + $400 and it's driveable.
  2. As stated above i am chasing the black fuse relay that sits under the fuseable link in the engine bay near the master cylinder. If you have one please PM me or reply here. Ta
  3. Send me a PM with your address and i will post thm to you.
  4. One was loose, left hand side of the shelfing on a pallet but i think there were more in the electrical box located with the rear interior plastic trims and door trims.
  5. I'm in. Might be 6 might be V8.
  6. Awww, but that's my fav bit. Here's a pic of Bozo's full kit. Ain't they preddy?? Oh and the first word in this thread is tutor..... arr you know what it's here for, perhaps a discussion thread is needed. I have mine tweaked in the 2 seater and they rock. Can't wait to try them in the V8 2+2. By the way a disc conversion per side weighs 7.2 Kilos and the drums weigh 5.4 kilos.
  7. Dimitri does have the wiper switch assembly, i seen two there in his collection on Sunday.
  8. I made mine from plate steel, a piece of tube that came from a supermarket shelf and four bolts from bunnings. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,7876.msg75101.html#msg75101
  9. Update on a revised handbrake setup. I was thinking about this since i did the conversion and have since done the same rear upgrade on my 2+2. First cut the R31 handbrake bracket as pictured. Then take the stock Zed handbrake bracket and trim it to the first bolt hole as shown. Then cut angles on it to suit either left of right caliper. Line up the Zed bracket on the R31 stalk and and plug weld the bolt holes. Then turn over and weld the other side (two decent tack welds will be heaps). Then squeeze the Zed handbrake cable at the end bracket and fit the R31 washer (perhaps a small amount of grease too) and a new split pin. You will need to bend the caliper handbrake arm to suit but it's very easy to do. After you fit the clip to hold the handbrake cable in place you will notice that the bracket point the cable away from the half shaft on a slight angle which helps with clear it much better than the previous modified R31 bracket. I have tested this setup and it works very well. This saves you grinding down the R31 bracket and reducing strength.
  10. Mine does that too. Maybe just change the strut cap on the left for a front one?
  11. They swap the leads around to suit. To get it back where it should be you remove the oil pump, remove oil pump drive and turn around 180. It's been documented on here in another thread.
  12. Looks like somone has set it 180 Degrees out.
  13. Dimitri had a few (hundred) i think even i have a spare one.
  14. One of these would fix it too. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/JDM-L20-Turbo-Engine-L20ET-6-Cylinder-Motor-Nissan-Skyline-240z-260z-280ZX-/380483521280?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item589695cb00
  15. Send me a PM with address and i'll send you all the ones i have spare.
  16. I have the three. I need just one so i can send you the other two for postage. Like i was saying they are in repairable condition only. But if Dimitri has one i dare say it is in perfect condition. The one i need is only to repair mine.
  17. What i'm thinking of is dropping it lower for shows. Perhaps i should airbag it for a real hotrod look.
  18. Just been looking at the bits i obtained from Dimitri and i have to say i am so pleased. I now have nearly all the parts to finish off the V8 project 2+2 and a few parts for my 2 Seater. The amazing thing is it's not the sheer volume of parts that he has it's the multiples. Many parts on your Zed that may have been annoying you because of their condition you could source through Dimitri. On another hand if you had the time and space buying the whole kit and kaboodle would net a profit if you could catergorize, clean, photograph and list all the parts. Don't wait too long to contact him for parts you need as it's a unique opportunity. A special thanks to member Ango who started this thread but was not able to attend, it can be difficult to get a time to suit everyone but i was lucky enough to be able to organize other jobs and pick ups i had to do in Melbourne on the same day (was a 400 Kay trip for me). Once again thanks Dimitri and if you still have a large collection next year i will see if i can stand up and take the lot off your hands. Cheers
  19. Well i saved 14 kilos on the manifold alone and alloy heads are worth a 20 kilo reduction, as a non running ride (as yet might be only 2 weeks away) i will need to test it under various conditions to see what combo i use. The coilovers sound like the go because i like the ride height adjustment.
  20. I can't imagine how hard it is to have all that Lockey has on his plate and to be a moderator, top job and i doubt that a lot of our knowledge trees would be as fruitful without your constant input. Thank You for all that you have done. Mark Kelava
  21. Great to catch up with some of the guys and get some parts for my 2+2 for cash, thanks much Dimitri. The treasure hunt was more fun than finding the bits i needed I found 3 which are repairable, all are in average condition with the stalk button being the broken part on all three.
  22. We'll keep an eye out, i won't take it back to ballarat because postage would be killer
