    There is an art to tuning them, just listen to it. If it pops through the carbs, too lean. If it pops at the exhaust on idle, too rich.

    Yes have restriction Mick. It will run lean otherwise and backfire at the carbs.

    Probably one of the rarer parts nowdays. Take note Benny as you have one on your car that's for sale and the last 2nd hand one on ebay sold for $450 almost straight away.

    Glad i could help out. Peter is very happy with the bonnet and i've asked him to throw me the old one so i could graft the vents into another bonnet.

    It is normal for the 2 inch part to move. I would suggest that your Master Cylinder needs reconditioning or cleaning. It sounds like it's sticking. I would suggest starting a different thread and let some of the other blokes chime in. Mark

    All that i have is what you see in the photo. There is the thread below which says that allzparts in Sydney had them years ago http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,5510.msg46561.html#msg46561 Or if you're clever you can actually modify a toggle switch to perform the same function. I used a toggle switch for 10 years with no issue.

    If by gone floppy do you mean the switch for the indicators won't hold in place (left is usually the problem because of gravity) if so it's the switch and they seem to be very hard to find. I doubt if what i have will help you. Do the indicators still work?

    Yep i have about 3 spare units there. Just the indicator hardware side. You'll have to wire your gear into it, i'll get a picture up this morning.

    On this spacer you can see how heat has effected each side near the bearing. Must have some pressure on it!!

    I would assume that no matter what security you had in place if people wanted them bad enough they would get them. I had both sets of keys removed from my two Zeds late last year and they were parked behind a 7 foot high locked gate in the backyard. I usually always left the keys in them but i don't anymore. I think i may have disturbed them in the middle of the night.
