Doesn't have the same appeal as the hard top. First opinion was that it looked a bit like a bloated MX5 (excluding the head/tail lights) and doesn't have the same speedy feel as the hard top. The only good convertables are cars that only come out as convertables eg. Datsun 2000 Roadster, Mazda MX-5, Honda S2000 (Yes, I said a honda. Credit where credits due)

When people ask me about my car i just say that they don't make cars with the same style and class that they used to. But for my whole driving life I have only driven Z's (280ZX's still working on restoring the 260 yet to drive it ) and always get nice comments like "its a beautiful car, that must have costed alot" from women. Most guys on the other hand say that the opposite, offer to buy the car for a grand and bag it out (mainly crumbledoor owners). But to sum it all up, who cares what other ppl think if driving a Z puts a smile on your dial thats all that matters. Cheers Add

The kill count idea with cars idea is cool also. I think it should be little honda civics. To answer your question to if you should do this, I think the number of post in the thread should give you an answer. I belive the guys over at Hybridz have a group called CammoZappp just for this paintjob. If you are going to continue with the cammo look in urban. I think you should consider some yellow stars and make it like a 3 star general. Just run them along the top of the door just under the mirrors. I could imagine the excuses after being hit on the freeway, "look i just didn't see you comming".

We'll see Lurch but its a 2+2, the rear end looks like swiss cheese . I have some soul searching to do in regards to efforts of saving it (which I would like to do, but thinking realistically).

Welcome, to the forum, Z's are a great 1st through to 100th car to own. Nothing can replace real style, beats those new take-away boxes people call cars.
