    Needs a better air splitter at the front, I saw something about this on hybridz. I think its a kit made in the UK and comes with the 2 front guards, bonnet and air splitter. Would require a bit of modding to accomodate though.

    Correct me if im wrong, but arn't fresh rebuild motors supposed to run a little warmer. This is due to the fact that things are wearing in eg. rings against cylinder walls and so on. Although could be possibly be tuning, just to confuse you and throw it in the mix

    24OZ What do you think postage would cost from perth to melb? Rbz260 what rust does the hatch have? Im supprised that there isnt anyone in victoria who can help out here.

    Thanks for the reply Rb260Z AND 24OZ I appreciate it. I wonder how much freight would cost on an object that size and weight? What would you guys consider a fair price for a hatch? -Adam

    Hi all, In the progress of restoring the Z and got to the hatch which I thought wasnt to bad. Turns out that the old hatch would be better used as a soup strainer. Its not a mater of cutting out small sections more like building half of a new one. I am after a rust free hatch or very damn close. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in Advance. -Adam

    Depends on where u live. There was a 280ZX with a L28 Turbo on ebay yesterday for $4,000. I would have bought it but it was in QLD.

    Yeah, hes been around for a while, was a pannel beater when my old man was my age. Mainly does all rods and muscle cars, pretty well known for his work. Well glad to hear that he wasnt playin a joke on me. 2-3 weeks . For the tub I was going to cheat and dig a hole and line with black plastic (stuff they use for gardening). I can get molasses from a produce place, about $30 for 25kg. So it sounds reasonably feasable, to the garden shed batman. After Im done might plant a small veg patch

    Hiya, Spoke to a rod restoration person about fixing my hatch, due to the location of its cancer. Weirdly he said to dip it in molasses and then wash it out with fish oil before giving it to him. The molasses is supposed to help with neuturalising the rust, does anyone know anything about this idea/process? Thanks in Advance Add

    Just got an email back from 18racing.com about setting up a group purchase. While they are not willing to drop the price for a set of rims, however they are willing to drop the cost on shipping as the discount. That is if we ship them as one lot. Their reasoning behind this is that they are selling them a cheap as they can. But for my 17x7.5's with a +4 Offset, they quoted me AU$973.35 ($895 US) that is shipped to my door.

    Hey, Well looks like i need newer tires sooner than I thought. 2 weeks sounds pretty damn good for delivery time. And now for the noob question. I think that 17x7.5's with +4 offset should be fine under stock suspension, would anyone want to confirm that before I lay out a heap of $$$ on something that turns out bad. Add PS: Just dont want to blow good money on bad

    Hi, The one on hybridz looks abit like it was inspired by an FD3S Rx7 wide bodykit in my opinion :-\. Maybe you should have a look at the rx7 gt cars and see if that helps. However thats just an observation. I think i may need glasses Add

    Just finished reading the group buy from hybridz and they are looking at $750 to $950 a set of four in 17X9 and 17x9.5 now thats what you call dish. My main reason for the 17's is purely down to availability in tyre sizes. From what I read rota are making a 17X8.5 in the RB's which I think would be awsome . But I'm looking at the 17x7.5's mainly due to the fact that they wil fit under a stock setup. Here's a link to the rota website, see what you think. http://www.rotawheel.com/rb1.htm

    Sportmax Rims

    They are often used on Hybrid Z forum.     Hi, Just wondering if anyone knows who deals in sportmax rims in australia or more to the point sportmax 002's. I know that they are an American rim and could get a set probably shipped from the states for a large sum. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

    How did you go with that centre console. Mine has been completely broken out around the choke. Could you post a pic of the one with the usual cracks. Might be able to plastic weld it together. :-\
