americans had to remove the rear indicator as well... i don't mind the front idicator, maybe a more classy clear indicator would go down well, and maybe a smooth one, that is lines with the body rather than sticking out... im leaving my rear vent hole, just becuase i think its there for a reason, and i will make my badges look pretty... don't mind the front headlight welding job, but not really a problem for me anyway.... i like the black powercoated window surrounds thou, they look clean... but i'll be going classic crome...

after spending 4hrs on one dent in the roof tonight, im quite sure im still going to have to need filler only tiny amount, But im going to buy more body work tools tommorrow, Ive decided that working on the body of the car is an extremly rewarding job, espicially when i work on 1 panel and finish it and realise that i did a half decent job... but hoping it won't look shit in the morning... haha

hey guys Im up to fixing my roof, now i have some small dents, mostly indents from either someone putting stuff on the roof, or someone sitting on the roof etc etc... You cant see them, but i can feel them, The rest of the body is easy to fix, as i can smooth it out etc etc, but the roof is a really large area, and am finding it really difficult to smooth out these bumps... i havn't used any filler yet, as im trying to use as little as possible on the car has anyone got any techniques on curving the roof dents out, as i want the roof to be perfect as you will easily see the slightest dent in the roof on a sunny day Also posting this on other Z forums, to see what i can find

i had a dark colored Z already, i really prefer the lighter colors, as during the day they look great, but espicialy at night you can still see the lines of the car that really make it look fantastic... I'll most likely be going chilli Red, from Mini, basically looks exactly the same type of red as Manaros but a little but more "chilli" as my engine bay is already been painted red, easier to paint the interoir with everything out already.. etc etc

unless u have a like a some awesome aero kit on a Z, the aerodynamics of a Z is quite bad.... to my knowlege it will get quite unstable at the 220 mark with original Z bodywork Im sure ashley has some track experiance on this issue, but in my old Z, 180 wasn't to hard to get to... the old Silvia was better, when the speed restrictor was off, cruising at 220 wasn't a problem at 6000rpm in 5th

And now my favorite Cost is US:690 for bonnet, 334 for flares, and 249 for rear Bre Spoiler, they also for a spook spoiler in carbon fibre, but i don't want that... from Zcarparts.com all this is Au will be around AU1500+shipping...damn expensive... But looks fantastic doesn't it

if your looking for a simple alarm system with the central locking best bet is to go on Ebay and buy something off there you like, unless you want a brand name... as all the $3-400 stuff i find in jb-hifi etc etc, is all made in the same factory in china, and will cost you 150 or 200 on ebay... i did this and bought the actuator from JB-HiFI, as thats the heavy duty part you need, saved a few hundred dollars

As im sure im about 4-6weeks away from giving the Z a spray job. i am unsure of what color to go,and ive been having this discussing in my head for over a year.... either this color, its called sonaro metaliic, from BMW individual range... i like this color very much, and i think it would be great for the car as the orignal color of the car is green, so kinda keeping the same etc etc or Red, bascilly nissan red, i forget the color code, but its quite nice but as everyone has seen Red Zeds around

what is a vass certificate???... the number one reason why id be getting a engineers certificate, with any car, is because of insurance reasons, getting defected by police is not a huge issue rather than having void insurance and having a huge bill

everyone really love the ziel don't they I'll promise to play with photoshop tonight and get a logo, even thou i don't have windows to stick it on.... but i know its like a month late but the side indicators at the rear i believe didn't come on Zeds, and i had a 76 and it didn't have rear side indicators as US versions did.... jap, aus, UK versions never had rear indicators as far as im aware....

after i read the part about the house, i was thinking about that RACV or ammi add where the car fliped going down the driveway..... think this at least you didn;t have to pay money for towing.... haha but all is good.. if the dash isn't cracked "i call it", and centre console etc etc...

b&M will cost you around 6-800 mark drive in drive out service,,, with dyno tune, thats what i was qouted by them around 3 years ago for a overhaul of the carbs drive in drive out'/... but i was happy to give to them knowing it will be a good job and great tune best to call Carb shops and see if they can source you something,

yer i wouldnt go the original metalic green from datsun id be going the green from bmw that i like..... but yer i also really love red, might just have to get 2 Z cars one day

evan a photoshop like that makes me more and more want to paint my car orignal green.... damn i like it with the dark wheels think carbon fibre flares, and bonnet, wantabes and carbon fbre front spoiler... most likely not real carbon fibre, but that carbon fiber covering over fiberglass... MMMMMM, dreams will come true one day... but nice work evan the guard spacing to the wheels looks fantastic as well...

matt black is actaully what a black bonnet is suposed to be, as its purpose for being black is so that when you are doing ur saturday racing, or sunday morning hillz spurts, and the sun shines on your bonnet on a downhill, you dont get sunglare... but again, ive seen quality matt black spray caned full cars, as i did my old silvia like that, took alota spray cans, bout $240 worth for the whole car, and lots of time....
