  1. Ah Cool, well you'll have to aim for three cars or more next get together!
  2. He's in Liverpool, NSW, showing if you click on user name above avatar. Click there to see users profile.
  3. Noted on the Calendar. Gav we really should have the calendar showing in part on the front page I think. Yer pics a good idea!
  4. Yes need to finalise dates for meetings. The next meeting date will be Wednesday 2nd of April. I agree at least the first few dates of the events should be posted on the front page as I don't think anybody really looks at the polls, maybe push the polls down. Leave that to Gav. Based on the video footage I have recieved I can put together a video on the Tassie trip although I've been advised many don't want regoes showing so that means more time trying to blur out plates, not sure if I have the time to do that, I'll see. There is some good stuff on there for a short vid as far as a site vid but not sure that you could get much more than 10-15 minutes for a DVD as 95% of the footage is in car which can get a little boring, (I'm sure it would have been excellent driving on those roads but in many cases in car video does'nt capture that feeling fully). Got some nice video of the track day and good dialogue both in car and in the mornings. I've sat down with Lurch and made some notes, I think with the stuff on the track and the still photos we can put togther something everybody will enjoy and I'll put together a long version for you Craig that you can distribute amongst the attendies and perhaps we can watch on the night of the BBQ meeting in April. Craig do you have anything on your video tape you think would be of ineterest in the DVD?? Sulio
  5. Yer I was thinking about the DASTUN thing. I've got fairldyZ badges on the car which always amuses me to see people unfamiliar with Z's to walk by and say...hmmm whats a fairlady!...so I thought I'd stay on the more "cryptic" side (sort of cryptic if your'e not into Z's anyhow) and use S30 to keep it interesting, just gotta find the right font. I'll have a plkay with the 260Z badge font next.
  6. Hi Guys, I got a little bored tonight so did some photoshoping on an idea I had. Anyhow I've got a pic below of what I was planning to do with the side stripes on my car but just not sure what would be the best font for the S30 shown in the pick below. Any ideas??
  7. Thanks Hellfire. I'll have to bite the bullet one of these days. Those are some really amazing photos. Thing is apart from being a really good photographer I bet the guys Photoshop skills are up there! Very inspiring photos, I've put that link in my Photography favourates folder. Thanks, Sulio
  8. Ah the feeling of picking up your first Z, just great. Let the fun begin!
  9. Hey Warren, did it have the 5 spoke 14" wheels like Richards (Biggelz)? If so I see that car quite a bit in Ascot Vale near Browing st. I also saw a yellow 240z at the Ascot Vale gym quite a bit lately, I left him a note with reference to the site. Sulio
  10. George, They look like some really great photos. I like the fact that you can take a slow walk anywhere looking for that rght shot, like George said it can open your eyes up to alot of things you miss on our hurried daily routines. Hellfire, I have an old Pentax camera with quite a few lenses and my plan was to wait until the K10 came down in price. Do you think there is a significant difference between the K100 and K10!?? I know you go up to 10megapixel with the K10 but do you know if it's very noticable as your photos look very good also? Sulio
  11. oh man calm down everybody, always dissapoints me to see threads go this way. Anyhow I think everybody will agree it's time for any interested parties to PM Andrew directly and take things from there as this thread is going nowhere fast. Lets all try focus on the constructive stuff. Sulio
  12. From reading the Hybrid Z thread I believe the group buy is based on 17x9.0 -13 for the front and 17x9.5 -19 for the rear. Have'nt checked that thread for a few days, I wonder if they have progressed!? Sulio
  13. You can browse through the calendar dates on the link below. There seems to be a show and shine event in late Feb. I'm also a member of the NDSOC however I regretfully don't get a chance to get to many events but might be worth a look in. [http://www.ndsoc.com.au/component/option,com_events/task,view_month/Itemid,80/year,2008/month,02/day,10//url] Sulio
  14. A good place to find an S30 in that condition would be to drop in to some of the NDSOC Concourse events. Car's with engine bays that look that clean don't see the streets on anything but the occasioanl Sunday when the sun is shinning with no clouds in sight. Good Luck with your search. Just out of curiosity what sort of use are you planning for the car? Track, weekender or a daily driver? Sulio
  15. NZeder, just been following that thread. Great looking wheels and unblvble price! It seems they plan to offer 17x9.5" -19 and probably 17x9" -13. Good set up for ZG's with stock perch's/ Some pics of the 17x8.5 Rota RB-R's (not sure of offset) more pics here... http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=126343 Wow these would as good as Wats but in 17's at the price of $1300 landed, thats impressive. I'm tempted to get a spare set of wheels like a fashion accessory!
  16. Hey Mike, $1300 landed for all four. Wow, thats pretty cheap. 17x9.5 at the rear would be good, what about the front!? You got a link to that hybridZ thread? Sulio EDIT: ah found it http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=123576&highlight=Rota+RB-R
  17. Hi Pauly, Thats a typical front wheel drive offset. To make them work you will nedd at minimum a 20mm spacer but even then they might look a bit pox as they will sit far in towards the center of the car to give you that cheese cutter look. You want to have them at about 0 offset from memory and a slight negative would help give it a nice full look. Just to give you some perspective my fronts are a 8.5" wide rim with -6 offset and they could almost fit under the gaurds, (and I'm sure if they were 7.5" wide they would fit nicely with -6!) Sulio
  18. ah sweet just noticed logo above is now AUSZCAR! Looks great Gav. Sulio
  19. Hi Wayne, I did respond to your mail sent to Gavin. Not sure if you got my response. I was hoping you were in Melb for the evening for a catch up as I'm working on that date and could only make it after 7:00pm. Oh well I hope you get a chance to catch up with the guys on the Tassy tour return! Cheers, Sulio
  20. It might take some time but I feel we gradually fase out www.viczcar.com and go with auszcar.com on everything so as far as stickers go we will only be making www.auszcars.com. (I'll put it on my AusZcar to do list!) Sulio
  21. Hi Welcome, Good like in the hunt for a Z. Check the classifieds on this forum routinely as we tend to post up cars we find for sale in various places. Always a good chance a member here might be able to give you feedback on a Z you might come across in your search! Cheers, Sulio
  22. No info on them but I thought these looked nice! Maybe someone knows the brand? Sulio
  23. Or use the "Member's Project Journal" we have in the forums to start a thread and track progress here on the site as others have, more likley to get people discussing and looking at you progress as they drop in to the site on a daily basis!? http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php?board=25.0 Sulio
  24. Nice work Gav! Will it be much work to change the current logo in on top left of each page? Sulio
