  1. I looked at buying some vented hatch lids from the US, but didnt like the fact that they were aluminium lids only and the freight cost. I couldn't find anyone here in Oz interested in venting the spare lids that I had. So I thought I'd try it for myself. Bought a vented sheet from RodLouvers.com Then made up steel former top and bottom that fitted over the louvers and shaped them myself. Took the hinge and clip from the old lids bottom of photo and brazed them onto the new lids. The louvre sheet was a bit short so I had to add a piece on top, but overall it turned out ok.

  3. I don't see you bringing any great insight to the table here. You're just playing the man, not the ball.

  4. I've been looking at seat options for a while now and the Sandown track day really reinforced how inadequate the standard seats are and I saw exactly what I wanted on FB. They turned out to belong to Cracker (James) on this forum. Seats are Velo "Milano" model which they haven't made for a few years and are pretty popular with the Z crew due to they narrower dimensions so the wings don't interfere with the top of the door trim. They came with adapters for early 240 rails which is a huge bonus and they fit perfectly first time so good job done by James, thanks mate! Additional bonus was I also picked up some head height clearance which I never thought would be an issue until I drove with a helmet on. Went for a short squirt in the car and they feel tremendous, no more hanging off the steering wheel in the corners and they look terrific.
