Hi Simon ,to wet for you? we did get two runs in the dry, and lots in the wet. All went well but was to cold and wet for good times. But had heaps of fun. I counted 4zeds. The passenger session was wet, like real wet ,good fun passing cars though.

Sounds like the weather was as ordinary at Sandown as in the north of the state.

 

I must admit i am a little dissapointed in missing the event, but We had an amazing day here in the country .

 

I decided with my wife that a celerbration day should be had after a unusual turn of events health wise.All is OK for now, u butey.

We decided to have a wake at the Thoona pub , I would recommend this feed to anyone.

Unbeknown to me Deb had arranged a coffin cake and read out my eulogy with photos of my life , I know it sounds a bit sick ,  but it was bloody funny especially when a mate gave me a gift from everyone, upon opening the eskie I found a sheeps lung on ice .

Pity it was from a sheep that had died 3 days earlier, because the stench that infiltrated the restaurant  was horrible to say the least

I hope everyones day a Sandown was as good as mine ...lol

I dropped by and had a squiz later in the afternoon. Aside from being fecking freezing it looked like a decent day if you just wanted to do lots of laps, they couldn't fill out the final sessions!

I had a 5th fairy birthday party in my garage Saturday that went all day. Which makes it hard to prep a car.

I've also come down with an electrical gremlin.

Great that you got a few good sessions.

Must have known something Gordon...ha ha  It was a great day and at least the rain held off until around lunchtime.  Including the 4 older Z's there was also a 350 and 3 370's out for a play as well.  I am sure that Kaz took heaps of photos but here are a couple of different ones.

Actually that was me passing Sinisha................in my dreams LOL. He went past me like I was standing still and I had the throttle hard to the floor.

 

It was so cold my smart phone screen wouldn't work! As for the wet track in the arvo it was fun to get some laps in. Gordo and I had a ball drifting our cars out of corners. Session was called off when someone went into the armco at the end of the main straight.
