  1. Yes mate I should be up at DECA. I was absolutely amazed at how many comments I have had regarding the photo from both people that have an interest in motor racing and even those who don't...... was some great exposure. Cheers Sean
  2. Karyn also had a go on Sunday in a "borrowed car" for the day although not a Zed she still had fun and cracked that 'elusive' 2min barrier..... I didnt make it along for this one as was doing recovery at Sandown for the V8Supertaxi's but am back for the November round.
  3. I reckon that it is coming out of MG and shot from the 'outside of the track' near the bridge & opposite the flag point (#11). The red thing in the background looks like a trailer parked on the back road to the hayshed past the Medical centre. The scenery is quite different in at turn 4 and if this was out of T4 the tyre wall runs parallel to the astro turf on the edge (and is closer) and it would have to be taken from the flag point on the inside of 'Honda'. - a place where only officials/flaggies can get to. I am there next weekend and will try and get a shot to confirm either way. Cheers Sean
  4. Even though it was a hot day the scenery wasnt too bad from what I can recall....!!!!
  5. No worries at all and there were also a few other Zeds running around from other teams both old and new, again I didnt get all of them but here are a few.... we even had a 370Z in one of our teams. And the Z from Team 6 (60) broke an engine on the weekend as well.
  6. Sorry Peter, was just going through some of the photos and how could I forget about the RX-5 Cheers Sean
  7. Great weekend and had a ball as usual (we had 3 teams in 15, 16 & 17) so was able to catch up with Jason most of the weekend in between my 'official' duties both for the team and the actual event. Team 13 finished in 22nd position and Team 14 in 47th. I took a few photos from the event from various spots around the track and am sorry if I missed your car as I didnt take photos of every car. Cheers Sean
  8. Must have known something Gordon...ha ha It was a great day and at least the rain held off until around lunchtime. Including the 4 older Z's there was also a 350 and 3 370's out for a play as well. I am sure that Kaz took heaps of photos but here are a couple of different ones. The 'Shark-nose' Zed A bit of the new stuff Some of the old ....and may be because I am a bit biased of the signage!! Cheers Sean
  9. Not a bad book, got it a couple of weeks ago from Pitstop as well
  10. No Good Steve I have been on rat-sack since the start of the year and was injecting my self with Clexane as I also had a clot in my leg from about 100mm from the ankle that went up near my lungs (one huge clot!!!). Same thing cant fly for a while yet and gave me two months off work and a trip into hospital when first discovered the clot and instructed not to move for two weeks as risk of clot breakaway was high. Still walking with a limp at the moment and you may have noticed it at Winton a few weeks ago Cheers Sean
  11. Yes Simon, but didnt think that it was much of a mysterious game There is a 1600 Sports, Prince Skyline GTB, '63 Datto 1200 ute and the 1200 Racecar(s) Cheers Sean
  12. Hi Guys/Gals As the title would suggest, a bit of a long time lurker so only thought it was prudent to join up. We (term used very loosely, due to me not actually owning a Z) have a few Datsun's in various condition from laid up, in process of restoring and running. In total we have 5 Nissan/Datsun's in the stable and have been around them for quite a while without personally owning any. I am in the automotive trade. I am sure that there are a few people on here that I know and have probably already worked out who I am by my username and the brief (very) introduction so far. Anyway, I am just about to go and have a look around in here and will be sure to jump on from time to time and hopefully be able to add some contribution to the forum. Cheers, Sean
