620Z Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 G'day Lurch, I presume you guys have booked the Jag Rooms. As in contacting them first. Were they willing to allow us to attend their rooms for free? Are they allowing you to have a car or two on display? If so then it sounds like it could be a great night. Let me know if you need a hand with anything. Cheers Quote
Toecutter Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Hi Craig, I hope we can discuss these details in person. I'll call both you and Lurch tonight hopefully you guys are free tommorrow evening. Cheers, SUlio Quote

620Z Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 I spoke to my brother Gordon and whilst he can't bring his car he was going to come along with his friend Dave who also races his Zed and won last 2005 NDSOC club sprint championship. Quote
620Z Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 I just read that the NDSOC have changed there monthly meeting dates again and scheduled an early meeting same night as ours, so hopefully you can all still make it to the Jag Club. I know we are not in competion with the NDSOC but we did post out meeting date first. Usually their first meeting isn't till Feb. Anyway hope you can all still make it to the Jag Club as I will. Cheers Quote
C.A.R. Posted January 17, 2007 Author Posted January 17, 2007 How bloody rude - holding their meeting on the same night as ours! Never mind - still looking like a good turnout. Quote

zedrally Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 How bloody rude - holding their meeting on the same night as ours! Never mind - still looking like a good turnout. Word must have gotten out about an alternative club and got them worried LOL. FWIW RVAC was another meeting place I was going to suggest, now that would have made it interesting........ Quote

Toecutter Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Hi Guys, Just to confirm that all is booked. Details remain the same. When: Wed 31st Jan. Time: 7:30pm start, 8:30 for a brief presentation. Location: Jag. Club clubrooms. Address: 23 Rosalie St, Springvale (there's a servo on the corner). Soft drink will be supplied. Plenty of off-street parking. I'll be sure to fire off a reminder e-mail to all members this Friday. Our agenda for the night will be a quick introduction of all attending followed by a presentation by Craig Lovegrove on his heavily modded V8 2+2 260z. I will organize a number of DVD's of Z car action to be played during the night for all to watch. Pizza will be organised for all attending but the Bar will not be open. There has been some mention of organizing a cruise to follow soon after this meet. This can be discussed on the night, (Seeing the Nationals are only about 5 weeks from the meet date perhaps we could organize a Z colony of cars to cruise up to the Phillip Island Nationals for Easter!) See you on the night, please refer to map location below. Please make every effort to attend as we will be using the numbers on this meet to establish how often we should set future meetings. See you there! Cheers Sulio *EDIT: I have added a list of specs on Craigs car which will be on display on the night! (Bring your tools for all that need 2+2 spares! hehe  just kiddin Craig!).
