bryan3976 Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 hey guys got this yesterday im only 17 starting my apprenticeship next year thought i should get a project fix rust plans are to get a rb25 or sr20 s13 coilovers all round hilux breaks will be ordering a mounting kit from the states or is there some one local in aus who sells them ? thank you bryan Quote

Moderators Zedman240® Posted June 4, 2010 Moderators Posted June 4, 2010 Welcome #5... The Castlemain mounts will work with the RB30 and Rb20/25; same block (almost). Depending what gearbox you plan on using, you may have to make your own mount for type of box. Enjoy the build! Quote

MaygZ Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 Welcome Bryan. why has no-one told him that if he gets a move on and finishes it quickly, it can sit in his Dad's garage longer as he won't be allowed to drive it for a couple of years anyway? Looks a good project. Keep the L26 in it for a few years and enjoy it. There will be plenty of time to fiddle with the engine swap later. My 2 cents. One of the best mods to these is to fit Electronic ignition which there is one on ebay at the moment.
