Garth the splitter simply slides into bottom of spoiler I put a bolt in each end and couple of screws in middle to stop it vibrating and lock it in place Did have to trim a little to clear my 18" wheels

After last track day was pretty sure lsd was not working Left hand rear worn close to canvas was a good pointer Pulled diff out found my 4.3 diff was a poverty pack with only 2 clutches which now had no teeth and one was welded to spacer So guess ill be rebuilding it with 6 clutches and some good break away tension

Next to pull gearbox out and check why it dont like staying in third gear Was hoping it was just the shifter i found was loose but tightening that up didnt fix it so guessing im up for a rebuild of the gearbox too

Fun of going fast i guess

Mick - If you have fitted a GM motor why not fit a GM diff?

I've got the drawings/templates. The axles are a bit of cost but if you can get the outer couplings made at 'mates rates' it is a once-off build.

That poor diff!! It will be interesting to see if you pick up any time to the first split at Highcleare hillclimb with the rebuilt diff?

I love you guys.  Lay back racing in Tassie.

I heard that the Australian Sprint Champs are at Simmons next September . Is this so?

Could be worth a road trip.  And maybe a boat trip?

Nice work Guys.

Have thought about changing to GM diff peter just worried about getting a 4.3 ratio which works so well with my set up But its in back of my mind for sure

Should have checked this diff out earlier to see if it was a 2 clutch or 6

Will have to miss go kart track with zed and run the Wankel as planned Will have zed back together for hillclimb Hodgo im keen to see if I can improve first split too with both wheels driving might even stop Eric telling me to just ease the power on lol

Come on down Gordo any reason for a road trip is a good one ill get a trailer on standby lol

Uncle Eric!!

Hey Gordo once the white winged wonder is up and running send the Red rocket down here for a holiday and fly in fly out. We have some great events down here, and no silly rules, just run what ya brung. LOL. Even open meetings are simple, run Targa B class and have a ball. Lake Barrington Hillclimb is worth a look as well as Baskerville Historics in the Sportscar class or 'Muscle cars' class.

I'll see how things pan out next year, who knows what will happen, but if the Aussies are on in September  might try and get a team of vics over. I've run at Simmons and Baskerville , enjoyed them both. Simmons really hard on the brakes and I love the down hill run into the last corner at Baskerville . Cheers.

Hi Mick.

My brother has bought parts from these guys: http://www.360gearboxesdiffs.com.au/ and said they were pretty good to deal with. Cant vouch for their quality or prices but a good place to start.

You could also try http://www.transdiff.com.au/Home.aspx

Both are only a few minutes from my place and I would be happy to act as an agent for you and look over any work they do, also help with delivery if you need.

These aren't recommendations so suggest you search the interwebs whatever you do I'm happy to help where I can.

LOL...I think thy put one and one together after reading the paper.

Great to see both of you out having a run, there's nothing better than seeing someone improve as much as Mikayla did during the day, and in typical Bellinger style took home the trophies!!
