Have listed a set of L31 stroker parts listed on trademe that may be on interest.

Parts are in Auckland, New Zealand - happy to ship.

Beware crankshaft is pretty heavy!

Current exchange rates might make these parts very attractive in Australia.

Got to pay for those new Rota RB-R's somehow!

Just wondering what you guestimate shipping to be to Melbourne postcode 3162 for Crankshaft?

Might be interested in rods too, at right price :).

will find out the cost to ship

Dependant on your timing requirements - i will likely be in Melbourne around the middle of march on business (funnily enough - the Grand Prix is on at the same time). Anyway - might be able to bring it over with me.

Funny that - I don't think I have missed a GP since about 2K - got to time those business trips to Melbourne correctly ;)

Here's a plan - buy both LD28 cranks, ship them in the container, keep one and put the other on ebay. You'll make money given the cost and exchange rate and have a free LD28 crank!

Sounds very tempting, I'm not in a rush to receive them as I'm working in Dublin / Ireland. So I just need them delivered whenever they can get there.

Will send PM.

Hi,

I'm interested in the stroker crank or even 2 of them. How much is the exact price you want for it?

I have someone in Auckland that could pick them up for me.

$AU200 and i'll withdraw the auction from trademe site

Sounds good to me !!!

If you email me details and location I'll give my uncle in NZ a call to come pick it up and pay you.

my email address is rpar7@hotmail.com :)

2 Cranks might be heading to OZ now too....zrevival if it does happen and they are going together we should hock up and get them in the same location for a pickup/delivery. I am just north of Auckland but work in South Auckland so I can drop off to you on the way home sometime if the sale of my crank is a go.

Cheers

Hi Mike

Sold the crank to DevilZ - he got in first

Maybe give Gav240z a PM and do a deal on your one

I'm on the shore - but get around Auckland a fair bit (and NZ) - if you need me to drop off the crank anyway - happy to do so

cheers

Hey mate, PM me how much you want for the crank. I'm interested in picking up a spare and if I can get it on a container and save on shipping all the better.

You have to quick around here - already got a name on it but if he pulls out (not likely) it is all your gav for same price as Kerry's one $200AUD - arrange your own shipping.

Just a word of warning with regards to shipping stuff in container, been there done that, make sure the site the container is going to has the correct custom clearance for car parts if the items have to be listed in the manifest. It cost me a packet to have one of our container from work shipped to a different yard to have the container cleared as our site did not have the correct custom clearances. However if I put down on the manifest that car parts were new not used all this would not have happened. Live and learn - most of the parts were new apart from 2 x 260z front hubs which I could have placed in hand luggage and swapped out for the new brake rotors I had in my hand luggage (but I was not sure how long it would take to get the container from Melbourne to Auckland and I needed the rotors to get the old 240z back on the road)

So just check it all out before you make the call on the "just stick it in the container from work trick" don't learn the hard way like me - those rotors and hub ended up costing a packet  >:(

I'll say, snipered twice on this one. I wanted to buy both and stick 1 on ebay. They go for upward of $800 AU here.

Don't spose you have anymore of those ultra rare L14 rods? Another 4 and I have 2 sets of 6 :).

I'm collecting rare Zed parts for retirement lol.

No you got all the L14 rods I had......however I know of a guy who might have an L14.

Maybe if these cranks get to Oz with out too much trouble maybe us Kiwi's can keep an eye out for the good ones that go for around $200AUD, you have to be careful as some have done high KM and snouts can get damaged. Most of these damaged snouts can be repaired but that will cost some $$ so these crank would go for less ie $150 AUD or even as low as $100AUD. The issue these days is most LD28 forsale are complete engines and they are going for around $450AUD and cranks by them selves don't come up too often.

Sorry gav, I was also waiting for the first one on auction to finish but the devil got it ;) but now i should finally have a stroker crank after years of looking and various americans screwing me around :S

If anyone has any other ideas for shipping from new zealand to australia that would be great :)

Got a quote to get a stroker crank shipped today, $650!!!! Looks like I'll be looking into alternative options. It is actually cheaper for me to fly over to New Zealand and fly back with it :S

I am more than open to any ideas....
