Club stickers and donating members

For those who have donated in the past, I've just sent a list to Sulio with your addresses and he will be sending you guys some free stickers to put on your Zeds.

 

If you donated and don't receive a sticker in the next couple of weeks let me know here.

 

Thanks once again for all your donations and I hope the stickers look good on your cars .

Sorry to drag up such an old thread. Are there still stickers available? I think i must have been away when all of the discussion ref this was going on. I would be good to have a sticker on my car and I will donate again if need be.

To donate you just need to set up a paypal account that links to either your credit card or bank account. The link to donate with paypal can be found on the home page of AusZcar.

 

Alternatively, PM Gav for his bank details.

Hi Guys,

This is something I will need to raise with Sulio / Craig and Lurch. I think more club merchandise would be a great idea.

 

T-shirts and stickers are definitely 2 things we should have.

Might be an option for creating custom clothing such as T-shirts / Hoodies / Caps I'll need to investigate the cost involved and how much of a cut the company takes.

These aren't the stickers that Chris got made up last year are they?  If so, don't worry about it.

At present we sort of have two sections of finances going at Auszcar.

1) Raising money via paypal to help Gavin fund the website, cover his costs etc. (Priority)

2) Victoria are also attempting to get a few hundred dollars together to cover BBQ's, various meetings etc.

I intend to open Auszcar Clubs first "official" bank acount in the next week and hope to have it sorted before our Jag Club meeting. Then we might ask some Vic people to donate to cover some minor costs. Now the intention of this slush fund is only to cover minor incidentals and hopefully float around the $300- to $400- mark over time. We have $60- in the kitty already left over from the Xmas BBQ. Any additional money would end up going back to the mebers in give aways, BBQ's etc and or back to Gavin to assist him with funding the website. How people choose between the two is up to them. Sulio, Lurch and my self have discussed this before and agree all interstaters would be best to donate to Gavins Paypal and Vic people donate as they feel the need to either.

Like we say we are not an "Official" Club and hope this will work for the time being. We might become more structured in years to come but at this stage no one seems to feel the need to go to the next level. Keep it simple and not to structured to keep the politics at bay.

I hope Gavin, Sulio, Lurch and others agree with the above comments.

Great idea Craig.  I think the bank account will be great as it will enable some flexibilty for social functions and allow for further expansion as required in the future.  As stated last year I have $50 ready for the account as soon as you organise it.

Yeah that makes sense for you guys to start an account and still have Gav's donations as a separate option. As a Qlder I'll just continue donations straight to Gav

Good to see you have made note of this Craig. All agreed as discussed. Also I have organised an Auszcar banner identical to the the one Chris has sorted for ACT, (same supplier, thanks Chris). Banner will be up on display at the next meeting.

 

In good time I thought we could also get one of those sun tent things for shows like the display we had at Thredbo, but all in good time.
