If it's an early 240z, to me cut guards are a big negative.

However not many years ago people were hacking up early cars without a thought as they were the cheap Z's!

At some point 260z's in original shape may be considered highly collectible in original condition and hacking guards may be frowned upon. Especially if it's done to fit a massive set of rota wheels..

Valid points. Thanks.

That's how I feel to and then the next time I look at them both I feel bad lol.  Maybe just buy one with the guards cut so I don't have to make the decision.  :Anyone got a cheap z for sale with flared guards! :)

there's a 240z with an RB30 & flares on gumtree! haha

Hi Neuby

sorry buddy I'm not sure of the exact part/model number of the top of my head but will have a look at the boxes and paperwork and let you know when I get a chance.

Hos your Zed going.  Any more work done?

Cheers!

Are the suspension parts powder coated or painted with something like KBS rust seal?

Yeah I think I'll end up doing that over powder coating. But I don't want to "brush" it on. Rather spray it (with respirator).

Brushing on the epoxy enamel is easier and cheaper Gav, and there is no brush marks with the enamel either, you cant tell the difference.

This is a US version but the correct 303 Turquoise green I would like to go back to for reference.  Apparently this was a rare colour especially with the Ivory trim .

If you are looking for the 303 paint colour in 2 pak then you may want to try one of The Body Shop Paint Supplies outlets, I dropped into the one in Bayswater and they said they had the mix formula and could supply it in 2 pak.

Thank you. That's very good to know. Cheers!
