Cozza Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 I have wondered for a while if the various packing materials are recyclable. I did a litttle googling this morning on the packing peanuts which look like squishy styrofoam balls and came across this site. Turns out some of them are edible. Surely they are taking the piss. http://www.lard.net/packing.html Quote
George Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Mick, we use them at work. Yes, they are edible. No, I have not sampled them. They also breakdown well with water. Quote
lightmaster240z Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Some are make with corn starch. I wouldn't eat them yo don't know were there made. But you try them and get back to me about them. Bruce Quote
Cozza Posted April 19, 2018 Author Posted April 19, 2018 Ok, so they are edible but, I will wait till I’m properly broke before I move into a peanut packet diet. Anyone know if they are also recyclable or should go in the general waste bin? Quote
