Hi Guys,

i know ts going to be a big ask.. but if anyone has any of the following interior pieces from an Early 240Z (what the yanks call a series 1) in black can you please let me know:

  • Passengers and Drivers side Tool box lids (the plastic ones)
  • Rear tail light panel (this may be the same as later models?)
  • Passengers and Drivers inner door handles

Tool boxes might be available from 240zrubberparts.com other stuff should be the same throughout all 240z's.

Tail light panel is the same for 240Zs, just came in different colours.

A 260Z 2-seater one is different (larger access panels) due to larger tail light clusters, but I see no reason why it couldn't be used in a pinch.

2+2 ones are different again being, IIRC, about 40mm taller, and have a different end shaping.

Try ebay US and also the 240z 260z 280z enthusiasts page on Facebook. I got almost all of my parts from those two places. I got nearly all of the interior plastic trim panels in excellent condition for $110 + $90 shipping, from the FB page. Unbeatable value.

The earliest version of the interior tail light panel had no (removable) access panels for the tail light bulbs, so you had to take the whole bloody thing off to change a bulb. Second version and on incorporated access panels which made life a lot easier.

Aha, I stand corrected. No doubt Gav will be on the hunt for a couple of those next... if he hasn't already started... !!!

Haha. Knowing the attention to period detail that Gav is aiming for I wouldn't mind betting that he may already have one :)

Nah not yet, interior pieces like that will come last... and not that fanatical about having an early 1 anyway. Seems a pain in the butt if you blow a globe. :D
