http://www.my105.com/ListingDetails/p/8/cid/527/id/17536 Bargain at $40,000 with a great history, if I thought that I could drive it somewhere near it's limit then.................. The chassis has been developed over a long period of time, it used to have the original TT VG, now has a TT VQ.

Seriously, this car is great value for money but don't take my word for it, subject to inspection of course. For 40k, what race Nissan/Datsun can you get for that money, let alone performance. C'mon, get out of your comfort zone in to this.

Negative again Jason, this car could be log booked as a Sports Sedan but even without that there would be plenty of racing events it could do in Q. Then of course there are interstate events like Challenge Bathurst sprints where you compete wheel to wheel against the real fast blokes. Not everyone needs to win and covet plastic trophies you know, driving something like that would involve an experience almost out of this world for a start.

Did you ever compete in a proper modern powerful race car?

events like Challenge Bathurst sprints where you compete against the clock

It is a lot of car for the price, sorted and upgraded over quite a few years now.

I'm sure it's a quick car but it's as ugly as shit  :-[ It actually makes me shudder to look at it.

At least earlier Z's look good, that creature above reminds me of the batmobile!  ;D

As a Sports Sedan, it'd a backmarker, and a very expensive one at that.

You're not quite up there with that whole scene, even though you seem to make out you are.

There are far better purpose built quicker Sports Sedans, built properly, that will cream this, at 1/3 rd to 1/2 this price.

Richo, we all know you limited capabilities when it comes to racing, basically, nil,

The last blokes that had very good ability when it came to building these era Nissan proper race cars, were Carling and Bailey, and, let me tell you, they were not at all built like this one, or, your still born experiment.

This car, as Dave says, would be a fine sprints car, to run at any track, to belt in 1.32's at EC ( track layout not mentioned, and 1.02's at Wakefield, both of which quite a few of us have a bit of knowledge of, is not at all too shappy.

Just like the Regularity road cars that punch out 2.35's at Bathurst.

Most can put together a 2 lap screamer, but very few can then use that car at race events.

Obviously a $40,000 Sports Sedan is not going to be a race winner but also obviously for the sheer enjoyment and thrill of driving a powerful capable race Z then this Z32 for the money is right up there, bang for buck it's probably the fastest circuit Z around.

The flat black paint job is awful that's for sure, just makes the car look like a black blob.

What's left of it Jason, the seat?

Don't know about anyone else but being able to beat Porsches would be a start, racing as Porsche fodder, no.
