-Datsun 240z 1973 automatic HS30-102299

-Original matching engine and transmission

-Good history on car included

-Low mileage car and very original

-Rust in hatch lock down panel, dog legs, bottom of doors, and gaurds.

-Firewall, floors, roof, door frames, tailgate, a-pillars, spare wheel well, radiator supports, are all very solid and clean

-Before I bought it it had spent two years outside under a tarp with the right had side half-covered, so main damage is on drivers side.

-Interior is excellent for its age,and is not smelly or mouldy.

-Dash has a few small cracks, and the console is repaired with rivets. 

-Door cards, seats and interior plastics, and roof lining are all excellent and original.

-It is currently next in line to repair and I intended to keep it as an auto

-I think it's worth $22,000 like it is and would like to see it go to the right home.

Creative 1980's modernization, no money could buy it these days, not that you would want to!  Bumperettes are what they are called.

Just an innovative way of mounting driving lights out of harms way perhaps....the standard lights were not that great .

Does the car even run?

 

I really like the head lamp mesh grills and fog light combo.

Original radio in this 1, that's quite rare really.. Especially for an AU delivered car. Most were taken out.

   Hey there, definitely hasn't been under water and runs fine. Looks worse in the pictures than it is. Has't had front or rear damage repairs or previous rust repairs. The current rust is from being left outside under the tarp after the guy was too old to drive it. There is not too much to do to get it on the road in it's current pattina. I would prefer the new owner has their own skills or contacts to do the rust repair sections but if need be I can help.  It is a great little car to start with for those that can't afford the prices being achieved lately. cheers
