GongZ Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 I think it has been mentioned here somewhere before. I think it is one of the worst things anybody has ever done to a Z. It reminds me of the E-type hearse from the movie "Harold and Maude" Quote

(and pretend it works) Gidday The wagon/s have popped up on here once or twice before. Not exactly everyones cup of tea, but would certainly be a discussion starter at any Z event. I don't think there is one in Aus ? Quote
Sirpent Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 I did see this a few years ago, and thought, yep that works for me. It was by Callaway in the States and was seriously being considered to go into production. One of the few if only attempts of converting a coupe to a wagon that worked in my books. Quote
Moderators PB260Z Posted April 2, 2016 Moderators Posted April 2, 2016 (edited) Hi Didn't Callaway also do a Corvette wagon ? Edited April 2, 2016 by PB260Z Quote
Sirpent Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 (edited) Yep both the one you posted and the 2014 I posted above. A lot of them were done especially in the late 70's. Edited April 2, 2016 by Sirpent Quote

24 Dat Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 http://japanesenostalgiccar.com/profiles-datsun-240z-sport-wagon/ If you scroll down the article and watch the video of the build of the car with the support of Mr Matsuo, i think Jay Ataka is one dedicated Z fan and did a great job Quote
Six_Shooter Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 That "Sport Wagon" has terrible proportions that makes it look very awkward. There was an much older conversion done (grainy black and white photo) where it was liek a Volvo roof grafted onto an S30 and looks FAR better than that blue thing pictured above. Quote
