wildy55 Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Martin, take the 3.9 diff too My house is such a building site at the mo that I can't get to my spare diff to see what that ratio is. Will hold off on that till I get a chance to ferret to the depths of the shed... Quote

gilltech Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Hey Z, nice to hear from you! yes am interested in spares if they're the taller/skinnier version similar to 240, my 260 being an early '74. Quote
Gtv240z Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Hi , I'll take the rear strut housings if you can post to Adelaide? Let me know and PM also sent, Thanks Quote
Z Posted July 20, 2016 Author Posted July 20, 2016 (edited) Hi Gilltech Mate I've attached some pics as this might be the easiest way to know if the struts suit you. These look brand new, other than the patina dust! Hi CraigZ Can post to Adelaide no problem, pretty good with cardboard and tape! Did you want the 240 stubs also? Edited July 20, 2016 by Z Quote
Gtv240z Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Hi Z, Thanks for the reply , I don't really need the stub axles, how much do you want for the pair of housing with and with out ? Cheers, Craig Quote
gilltech Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Hi Z, your front stubs are the later shorter/larger diameter 55mm? ones, usable except then I'd have to get different inserts & springs so I'd be better to wait for a set of the earlier ones, which IIRC are about 50mm. Cheers, John Z 1 Quote
dat2kman Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 50mm diam struts are 240Z. Have some here but these are waiting for Jon Siddins to come and collect. Quote
gilltech Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 Righto, well could I have 2nd option on your 240 fr struts then please Jason. Quote
Z Posted July 25, 2016 Author Posted July 25, 2016 I'm no expert here but these struts certainly are not 55cm. The pic attached earlier shows OD to be more like 52 and ID 50? Quote
