  3. Triple DHLA 40G Dellorto carburettors. Was running on my 240z L24 until only recently. Parting out and garage clean out. Comes with ram tubes, weber mesh filters and a used (but in good condition) seal kit with all rubber mounts and bolts. Jets are as follows from what I've inspected: Main Emulsion Tube 7772- 10 Main Jet 135 Matching serial numbers as shown in the images. $800 Could do with some new gaskets on bottom of two of them as have very slight leak. Message me here or d.mracek81@gmail.com or 0419 008 705 Cheers Located in Melbourne South Suburbs

  11. Hi guys Looking at purchasing 15x8 (0) and 15x8.5 (+4) for 1971 240z. I'm pretty sure the fronts at 8.0 will fit but would a 8.5" fit with stock guards and slightly lower (think they are Eibach) springs? Thanks. Edit: Well no one answered and the answer is yes the above specs fit with slight poke in the rear. Planning T3 coils and adjustable arms in coming months see how we go!
  12. PM sent
  13. All fixed. The inside door handle connecting rod was pulled to tight therefore the mechanism wouldn't allow any travel of the door lock to the lock position.
  14. Hey Guys Would a 260z (passenger side) door lock mechanism fit a 240z (drivers side)? Trying to suss out options to repair mine that has broken internal parts which has caused the drivers side lock to stay in the unlocked position. Cheers Dale
  15. Thanks mate. Will do some more looking around and get locksmith to have closer look if can be repaired.
  16. Thanks Alan, I'll suss it out if it will fit
  17. I'll try mate, but the actual spring in the door is broken. I've had an auto locksmith look at it as well as the guy installing my alarm have both confirmed its broken and needs to be replaced for it to work.
  18. Chasing a door lock mechanism as my drivers side does not lock. 1971 Datsun 240z The spring that locks/releases the connecting rod to the door knob is broken and stuck in the unlock position. I've tried the usual online places such as MSA, vintagezparts, black dragon, Moorabbin Auto Spares and eBay but come up empty handed. I've attached an image for reference.
  19. Thank you! Helps when you are Treasurer of a registered club :-)
  20. Thanks everyone. It passed RWC last week and is now on Club Permit. As stated, yes you can drive on club permit plate anytime, but it's limited use. You must record all drives in a log book and if pulled over and its not entered you either loose the permit or heavily fined. All eligible clubs are listed on the Vic Roads website. She's been a blast to drive so far. Needs a good tune as running super rich. Hope to meet some of you at an event sometime soon in Melbourne when the weather is kinder.
  21. Yes it is his car that I've purchased :-) Very happy with it. Hopefully road worthy this week and then club plates and drive it!!!
  22. Well as posted last month I was on the hunt for a 240z. Al helped me search and up popped one which after an inspection and a drive I immediately placed a deposit on and picked up yesterday afternoon! I'm over the moon and can't thank Al enough for helping me find one and to the previous owner for making the transaction so easy! Spec: 1971 Datsun 240z, L24, Dellorto triples, flat top pistons, bigger cam list goes on. Some of you may recognize it I'm sure. Hopefully get roadworthy done this week, then club plates whaoooooo can't wait!
  23. Thanks Al!!! Appreciate the kind words. I'll continue looking until I get my z! Look forward to the adventure :-)
  24. ^^^ Yep that's my photography stuff. Thanks for sharing it! Your sister has become a very good driver! It's great to see some girls out there battling it with the lads.
