Hi,

I'm Shiva ( immi-grunt Indian). Been here for a while now. Have a 260z  (2+2). Added a 260 z (2 seater) to the garage now.

More into 4wds...but love the Zs for the highway. Never owned a modern car, other than the Patrol that tows.

Both stock L26 (mild cam), with minor exhaust mods. I tried selling the 2+2 for 6K, but happy it didn't sell! Tried again for 5K.....failed! So, both stay!

Sorry about the pics...I always thought larger the better,I am sure someone will flame me for this.

2+2 got some custom plates...cheapest I could afford!

Owwwwwwwww wine red 260z 2 seater.

My first drive in a Datsun Z-car was a wine red 240z (73 model I think) and I still have fond memories of that day. Seeing your 2 seater brought back memories for me.

Looks like quite a neat little car, don't blame you for keeping both.

You have a couple of nice looking Z's there.

The wine red 2 seater looks great  :)

Cheers

Hi Shiva,

Very nice 2 seater you have there. I'm pretty sure I have seen this at Tune Right a few times.  There can't be too many wine red 2 seaters with those wheels in Perth...

I don't think I've actually seen a Z in that wine red colour. What a sheltered life I must lead.

Looks very nice Shiva!

Datberger..it was with Martin. He does all the z workz for me! The 2+2 is with him now..undergoing some mods to make it a bit habibi.

I don't think 240z's came in that hue from factory, I think it was a later S30 series colour. Lurch's old 260z 2+2 was that colour. I think the 240z I rode in was painted that colour to look more like the 'modern' 260z :).

Let me correct that slightly by saying I don't think any export market 240z's came in that colour. However the Japanese home market HS30-H (A.K.A Fairlady 240zg) came in a Maroon GP colour that looks very close to it.
