I have a 260Z (2+2), slightly worked L26, 5 speed manual, no rust, stock standard. I got a complete rb20 setup with gearbox, that came out of a 260Z and was wanting to do the swap. But then, my 260Z is too good for me to change from stock and didn't have the heart to butcher it.
Then, I got spoilt for choice. Found a rolling shell 260Z and a 280ZX (not targa).
Now,I want to put the rb20 setup into one of these, whether the 260Z or the 280ZX ?
The only advantage I see in a 280ZX is the powersteering but other than that...I want to stick to the 260Z shell, already bare metal, no rust and straight.
