fluckaduck Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Hello Everyone! Like many here, I grew up with Datto's in the family in the 80s and have continued owning Nissans till this day. Well finally I found the car I've been after and placed a deposit on her today. It's a '77 260z 2+2 auto. 1 owner car that's been in storage since the 80's. I'll be picking her up next weekend with a trailer. Can't wait for this roadtrip as it's on the Gold Coast. I'll update here with pics when I pick her up! Meanwhile, here's some pics of her. Quote
George Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 That is one cool looking ride you have bought. Can't wait to see it and meet you at some stage. Enjoy the road trip. Quote
Moderators PB260Z Posted March 21, 2014 Moderators Posted March 21, 2014 Welcome, and on the northside as well. Shame you won't be able make the get together in Sylvania on Sunday would be a great way to meet the Sydney crowd. Look forward to seeing more photo's of your Z Congratulations Cheers PB Quote
Scoota G Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I can't believe the condition! That thing belongs in a museum. You would be mad if you changed anything, I'm speechless. Quote
fluckaduck Posted March 21, 2014 Author Posted March 21, 2014 Thanks for all the replies! I'll be keeping her as stock as possible. Tyres will be to be replaced as they're 30 years old. All fluids I'll change. Seals, bushes will most likely need some attention. The car was last registered in 1985 so they'll be a lot of things to play with Quote
