Hi:

I'm new to this Forum but have been a Z fan dating back to my very first car. It was a 280ZX in 1979.

I am now looking to buy a 240Z (432). Yes, rare and expensive.

I'm looking for the best example possible without needs.

I want a genuine no-stories car. Not a clone or replica.

I am in Houston, Texas, USA.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Mark

Are you a car dealer?

Here are some tips for you:

*A car can be a '240Z' ( HS30 or HLS30 ) or a '432' ( PS30 or PS30-SB ), but it can't be both. If you're looking for a '432' then you're looking for a '432'...

*If you're looking for Penguins and somebody tells you to look in the Arctic, don't trust them.  ;)

Ouch, sizzle. I'm not even sure if there are any owners in Aus that broadcast Z 432 ownership, let alone want to sell... does anyone even know of any? As other have suggested, I'd look in the only market where they were actually sold, good luck with that.

With that said, NO I can't help ;)

As far as I'm aware there are 0 432 Z's in Australia. I don't believe there are even any S20 powered cars running around here yet!

If someone were truly interested in such a vehicle I would start my search on Yahoo! auctions but don't hold your breathe as finding a genuine car like this would really involve dealing with a reputable company in Japan to help you locate 1.

I'd still like to know, what is the OPer's budget?

What price for one, if one was able to be accquired?

I have to say, i would not desire a 432,

a Lamborghini Muira SV is what i am interested in.

My budget? $500 to $800 k.

I have a space in a shed waiting.

And no, not the fake one built on a Pontiac  Fiero floorpan

( it does have a proper Muira windscreen, cost him some $8000)

I call bullshit! ... There is no room in your shed.

If you were serious and money wasn't an object  I'm pretty sure you could get somebody in Japan to deal with the Z restorer (not rocky auto the other guy) as I am pretty sure there was a 432 sitting in his yard when I watched "retro car kings".

You won't be allowed to buy a Miura if you can't spell Miura....  ;)

Rocky auto do stock genuine 432s and KPGC-10s though.
