Wanted; 'Nissan 2400' valve cover

Hi Folks,

Anyone got one of these 'Nissan 2400' valve cover they'd be prepared to part with for my beloved Brown Hornet? My car is a April 71 build, so this is the cover i'd like to do the L24 in it justice.

if you're reading this, also keen to find some genuine period correct 240Z seat belts or buckles for.

Adam, mine is a early '70 (as you probably know) & even that wasn't fitted from factory with a '2400' rocker cover - just depends on how 'period correct' you want to get...

As for the seat belts, have a word to your local AutoBarn salesman. We've had new belts made up for the Mk1 Escort we are doing, ordered through them.

Have Nissan rocker cover off an N42 that was on an L24 if that helps

Does anyone know if Australian delivered 240z's had the 2400 CC valve cover? I don't think I've ever seen 1 in Australia so I'm thinking it's a US thing only.

I could be wrong but im pretty sure they came on S1 240Z

Yes they did come on the S1 240Z but only on the first fifty cars .That is any 240Z's above HS30 000050 did not have them. My car was number 46 and I sold the cover to one of the members here over two years ago . He may still have it and I am guess he will want a bit more for it . I could ask him to MP you. The only other one I know about is on car number 12 in Brisbane and he won't part with it.

The old super sixes also had that cover, but they are getting harder to find, so sorry cant help.

Both early 240's of Dimitri & myself have the Nissan cover, so I'd say Aubs is right.
