Hi all Was there any changes to the fuel filler cap over the years? Pretty sure 240s and 260s used the same part. Anyone know for sure?

Hey Has anyone managed to remove scratches from the exterior of glass? I've rub marks on the hatch glass after the previous owner thought it was a good idea to fit a louvre - from a different ( non 240- sized car...). Hopefully you can make out the marks that run vertically down the glass. Cheers

A complete car (yup I've seen the rust) for $100 and a little effort and nobody thinks that's the buy of the year (or decade)? There's a couple of grand in parts that'll take you a day to get off. Perhaps there are too many rich people into Datsuns now...

Or you could look at it from this angle... If you give your car to a better driver, your car will go faster for free. So spend that money on becoming smarter behind the wheel and on the pedals. Works every time!

Hey Gav This was in my '71 when I bought it. Guessing it was the original unit.

Neither of my '71 cars have em. When I got my QLD roadworthy, the guy checked and said they are not needed before 1972. So it might be a hassle to rego a post-'72 car that's missing one?

My original 240 gets fun in the sun on a weekly basis. Still an "event" when I get behind the wheel and fire her up. The other is a primed shell begging for me to find the time to rebuild her. Sound familiar to anyone?

Hey all So, progressing on well with lowered/uprated suspension for the 240. I've 4 x front 300ZX shocks in place (about an inch shorter in the front and just under two inches shorter in the rear). I've sectioned and welded the struts to suit and have adjustable coilovers to be fitted. I'm running Rota RBs (17x9/9.5). I'm just about to move the LCA pivot on the front crossmember and, reading on the site, 18mm up and 6mm out seems to be the go. Anyone have any different views/measurements on the new LCA pivot point? Be great to have confirmation before I become Dr Drill... Cheers in advance
