  1. Seen the carsales ad for it? 'Its an dream car for ur guys'!! Also I know someone already mentioned it but look at picture 6, the reflection of the rear wheel on the road is fantastic http://www.carpoint.com.au/all-cars/private/details.aspx?Cr=1&R=11503293&trecs=4&__Ns=pCar_RankSort_Int32
  2. Whilst true, it was so unnerving having you all hawk-eye me as I was leaving!! Just cause I'm the only P plater!! Anyone see/hear me grace the entrance with my rails?
  3. I haven't sent an email yet, you have me confooosed with someone else! I'll fill in the online form now to give you all the details etc then send you some pictures!
  4. Bump! Price drop to $10,500
  5. I know my car is ratty... and I know it's not exactly show car worthy unless I was part of the Auszoku guys... but I'd love a feature
  6. Darn! It'd be great to meet a new member! As for this day, I thought I'd just put it out there that I'm looking really forward to this day, I can't wait! Also I hope there's a Hakosuka Skyline there
  7. Woooo! Another 280ZX! Welcome!
  8. They're 15x8 and 15x10 zero offset steelies from ToyParts Industries here in Brisbane. I finally got on to him about them but he's closed down now
  9. Well I just put a new Form > Function die cut across the back windscreen today so I might just leave it for now!
  10. Cheers Simon, see, 2+2's can look desirable too
  11. Sorry about the slow reply! The internet at my new apartment has just been connected after a week of agonizing! Only problem with taking the whole hatch is the sheer weight of it coming all the way up to Brisbane from Newcastle
  12. Time for a decent set of photos of my Z!! It's a little bit of a young persons car I agree! But I hope you can all appreciate it within it's own right
  13. Hey guys, I'm on the look out for a rear louvre for a 280ZX 2+2. If anyone has one in decent condition, preferably with clips etc I'm in the market! Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeers Zac
  14. Thanks! It's actually not too hard, position the tyre in the middle of the rim with an equal amount of distance between the wall of the tyre and the bead on each side (I used short bricks under the tyre). Spray in a little starter fluid and leave a trail along the tyre wall, light it and stomp on it to suck the flame inside and it'll blow on! I only stretched a 225/50-15 onto a 10 inch rim so not crazy stretch, but I've known this to work up to 195/50's on 10's as well!
  15. Hahah, I didn't mean to infer anything! Just came at the right time for someone to get angry about my method of stretching! Fortunately no eyebrows were harmed in the making of the video!
  16. I use my spacebar to measure the dose!
  17. Just wondering, is this possibly an indirect response to my latest build thread update?
  18. Oh lord that was absolutely hilarious. Now to wipe the coke off my computer.
  19. Video update! Near completed, wooooooooooooo! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQebFke23II
  20. Still on the market!
  21. R200's are standard for the manuals and only a few had the R180 in the automatics. If you're wanting an LSD, you'll have to look for the 85 - 87 turbo non 'Shiro' editions. These are the R200 LSD's, go for around $750 - $1000 depending on condition. Mind you, you can get aftermarket centres which are the same price and heaps easier to find.
  22. Short answer, no. The springs and shocks are separate on the 300ZX rear trailing arm whereas it's a single strut in the 280ZX. Not only that but the diff mount is completely different. If you want it to 'slot in' you'll have a lot of trouble, if you don't mind a bit of fabrication, then it wouldn't be a hard task. In the end, it's still probably easier and more effective to go with bolt on brake upgrades, LSD and a set of weld on coils.
  23. What is this, I don't even....
  24. If I have a new set of tyres by then, count me in! EDIT: I have a set of new tyres so I am SO in. WOO!
  25. Awwww yeah! Best post of this thread!
