Welcome, I found everyone really friendly on this site, i already met a few people offering alot of advice.I found when buying my Datsun it helped me immensely asking someone from here to look with me so i know where to look for the rust spots and expensive parts to replace later. I dont think 24 is to old, im 25 and just getting into it so . Good luck on the car!

its still at the panel beaters(Rob elliot) so when hes finished with it ill be getting it on the road. There were some issues with the engine tho. There was a blue smoke they were a bit iffy about, they thought it might "blow out" since it hasnt been run much in the past year or 2,or naturally something major . But cant wait to get it driving . Let me know if your after parts. I got a few randoms in the shed.

Cash/Bank Deposit Registration: Unregistered Engineers Certificate: Unmodified Extra Info: It has alot of rust and comes with spare parts. I had this car shipped from nsw(nowra 2540) for about $760, so interstate shouldnt be to bad. It is fixable but definitely someone with experience and patience. I have more pics upon request. i have a rusty 260z with engine(was working average ages ago) for $1000. has a few bits and pieces also.

so all these oils can be found down at ur repco, autobarn etc? any chance of a poll of best oils? ive been in a few topics like this and alot of ppl have different opinions, and for me its confusing haha

i liked the idea of selling things first in a private section(if time isnt of the essence) and then allowing it to go to main forum after a few days. It gives the real commited guys to this site the first dibs they should be entitled to. Also, do we have a "Verified Trader/seller" option to add to our avatar part? i have a spare set for a '75 hovering around somewhere. unsure of working order.

when i sell my 260z (either parts or whole, ill be giving 5% to this site). ill put $10 in my paypal acct now(since it takes 3-4 days to transfer) and put it into donation when its cleared. Because of this site i now have a plan as to wehat im doing so its worth the money!

i had a car shipped from SE nsw to Traralgon Vic(home to home) for $752. They didnt care to much about it going, just had to have handbrake. They were a bit iffy having heaps of parts.....but im sure if the parts were neatly in a box they might not mind. The car started but wouldnt even go up an anthill so that shouldnt matter. The company was Auto Logistics...they were the cheapest by about $120. They had a problem with one of their drivers but id say that was a once off. They also do online quotes.

yeah! thats the one! he has it on carpoint for 6k and some other site for 5.5k =/. im really keen on it. do u happen to know much about it? theres a lil rust somewhere on the wheel arches and around the spare wheel arch or something.he sent me more pics of it.

hey, thats cool i may go over in the next few weeks! Theres a Datsun in carnegie im interested in, but naturally dont know heap about it. the owner sent me more pics of it. anyway,was wondering, if any1 would be willing or able to come with me to check it out, naturally i will pay for you for it .
