Hey guys, Seems like my alternator is not to flash, it hovers about 11-12 volts. Been told can POSSIBLY get it fixed, but id rather see what other options are available. If any1 has one let me know, will be very keen. Doesnt have to be a new flash on, as i will have to get a new big one when i install my car audio gear anyhow. The SU carbies are causing some issues. Theres alot of smoke and he believe its something to do with those(he doesnt wanna touch them cos he hasnt had experience with them).The engine is also leaking a bit of oil which he believes will result in the smoke. He has said it will probably need a tune. He has mentioned a guy he knows who does this, but id rather bring it to mention here. Does any1 know any1 around the Traralgon/Morwell area who do it or will have a look at it? Naturally payment will be involved and the joy of working on another datsun and teaching a new guy ! Steve

actually thanks for reminding me that, i did have the same problem ages ago with ebay. Yeah i wasnt even able to bid or do anything interesting on ebay =/. ALOT of other people have this error also. I think i downloaded some ebay program to make it faster? i think its something to do with java

i think i had issues with 6.7 or something. but im unsure if you can backtrack with versions....you might have to download a good safe version and uninstall it? thats one option, maybe could call your isp, they might have dropped for a few days....ours drops out a bit on wifi!

i had no issue either and im using google chrome(it likes using ALOT of memory). OPERA was great for speed i found. IE is just a joke and mozilla is the best overall. I used to have a few issues with the newest version of mozilla though, maybe thats why?

thanks for the help, looks like the ones im after should be able to fit. The mounting depth is 65mm, but mounting hold of 125mm. so 65mm into the door and the rest of the speaker will stick out the 60mm i think. That shouldnt be an issue should it? I still dont have my car yet as i been overseas, so i cant get any measurements

so it taking so long the paypal was having major issues with me now but its looking good now. sorry again! I was also overseas for 10days without really access to internet.

can i ask what the depth of the speakers are? or what speakers?

Hey Guys didnt really know where to post this. My Datsun is still being repaired at a panel beaters(a GOOD panel Beater!) but im looking at some speakers for the front doors. Does anyone know how much clearance i have to allow to add some in? Im look at 6.5"but beefy speakers. I know i can get speaker pods, just unsure how much room since i dont have my car here. Steve

hahaha .it will still be their a little while tho while it gets picked up. I should get my other datsun soon then would be great to catch up . Amazing how i got 2 completely different set of problems on 2 roadworthys.....
