    i used a datsun 1600 4spd clutch fork, then i found the 5 speed one, and put the next to each other and they were exactly the same..

    hay there mate, welcome :-) you have the silver 2+2 on McMahon st dont you? (only a guess) ive seen it sitting there... ive been meaning to pop in and have a yarn:-) ill pop round some time and give you a few pointers on fixing rust, Ive owned a fair number of dattos, so I'm not un educated about rust :-) as for skylines, i have a different opinion, I'm addicted to them & Z's , best of both worlds i think :-)

    found some seats today on ebay, saas buckets, they were just around the corner from my house and the fit perfect, like the were made for a z. the rails bolted straight on to the seat, i just had to drill two holes on the seat mount on the floor, just to shift them in 8mm, thats all !!!! . i know there not originals but they were cheap and are in perfect condition, and i think the look and feel great! About the carpets- got them from auto barn ill get some better pick when the interior is finished :-)

    Oh i hate silicone! i sand and polish timber floors and somtimes when people put fresh silicon around a windowm the fumes react to the floor coatings and leave minute depressions or craters :-) Yer if you go over some old paint do a few realy light coats first then you wont get a reaction between the two paint :-) with crows feet, you can sand them back to the undercoat and fill it up with spray puty, then paint over it, (ive never had it com back)
